...And Kazumi can come too

You looked at the pleading, begging eyes of Kazumi, and then back to Chloe. Chloe immediately shrugged. "Don't look at me! I'm not making this decision. I mean, I'm supposed to be the impulsive one and Zoe totally stole my thunder, but still. Just know that if you bring Kazumi and your dog along inside of Zoe, I am going to totally find a way to top that while at the beach because... well, damn, she's so cute like that."

Chloe reached out and pet the top of Kazumi's head, and her ears immediately sprang into attention, as she stuck her tongue out with a smile. When Kazumi realized just how silly that looked, she tried to stop, and then looked your way. "I don't know what any of that means but all I know is my thoughts are flooded with food, pets, hugs, and walkies. Just... please, I gotta go with you! I'm your best friend, twice!"

You rolled your eyes, and then laughed a little. "Alright, as long as you're actually okay to go and you don't need to be here for the weekend."

Kazumi nodded, and sprang into action, giving you a giant hug! She grabbed quite tight, and you almost had to pry her off. She cleared her throat, standing up again. "Ahem, sorry. Got real excited for a moment... and wow, that's a lot of boob to squish." Kazumi couldn't help but fondle herself, technically fondling Zoe but at the moment you saw no difference, hefting her sizable breasts in the tee that Zoe had been wearing. "These are your friend's, huh? They feel like they're mine now."

"We've got a lot to talk about. Go ahead and hop in the car, and we'll get going."

Ela had been surprisingly quiet this whole time, but you think she did so out of courtesy, mostly to not confuse things further. Hearing a disembodied voice would likely change the mood of someone unprepared for it, even if that someone was your friend-slash-dog. So weird. At the same time, Ela was experiencing so many things at once: new sights, new sounds, and while you took care of all the motor functions, that freed Ela up to revel in new sensations. You poked your consciousness next to hers briefly--a weird little situation, since you were essentially remote-controlling your own self like this--just to check in with Ela mentally.

"We've got a PUPPY, this will be so much fun!" Ela squealed mentally when she realized you were right there with her. "Even more friends! When we make it to the beach I want to meet them for real!" Letting Ela out to play did seem like a wise idea once arriving, so she could firsthand enjoy the facets of the beach and everything, not just simply by experiencing the things you wanted to do. Even with all the control she readily gives to you, she still is her own person and deserves experiences that are fully her own.

Kazumi tried to get in the front passenger seat, but Chloe put a hand on her shoulder. "Do you mind taking the back? So I can help navigate to the hotel. We'll put both the windows down for you." Kazumi paused, looking at you for a moment longingly, before nodding. She climbed into the back, and Chloe smiled at her as she got into the front passenger seat. "That's a good girl. Who's a good girl?"

"I'm a good girl," Kazumi said with a contented, almost smug look on her face.

As you started to drive again, you glanced over at Chloe. "How exactly can Zoe..?"

"Oh, right. Zoe, and also Ela by the way, can mix and match things kept inside their bodies, which then influence her behavior in the final product. It really varies, but Zoe could have a lot of electronics in her and behave similar to how the machine would, like if you put a phone in her you could make calls from her or something. You can put machines and living beings in her, and create a bit of a cyborg situation, or ultimately... you can combine living beings within her. They have to be placed just right to work properly, like things could happen where one person is in just her lower half and one in her upper half and then each person controls those parts independently. If I had to guess, both Kazumi and your dog's head exist in Zoe's head side-by-side, so their thoughts and personalities are mixing. A dog on its own might struggle a bit with a human body, but with Kazumi there too it creates a nice balance where the pup's wants and needs are translated into how Kazumi would interpret them. I'm sure Kazumi's needs are still there too, but it definitely seems like it would take her a bit to get herself under control with how excited your pup is."

That was useful information. And it created some fun scenarios, you could mix and match and jumble up people in strange ways... you filed all that information away in the back of your mind.

"So, uh." Kazumi leaned forward, this time behaving a little more like a human than a dog, after sticking her head out the window for a few minutes. "What exactly is going on here and why is everyone so calm about all this weirdness?"

"This is about the least weird thing that's happened in the past two days, Zumi," you said, glancing back briefly at the cute dog-eared girl with considerable cleavage spilling out of her shirt as she leaned forward. "For one, I only look like how I used to, but I don't look like this anymore. I'm wrapped up in a shapeshifter, and was body swapped with Laura. You remember that one woman during the Hideki quarterly staff meeting who gave the report on the testing department, and then yelled for about a minute at the technicians who spelled her name wrong on the teleprompter and she actually read her own name out loud that way?"

"Heh, yeah," Kazumi said through giggles. "Laura 'Estraba' or something. You are... in her body now? What?"

You nodded, with a smile. "I'll show you later. And... the shapeshifter, Ela, you'll meet her too, she's staying quiet for the moment but she's on top of me."

Chloe turned around. "And I'm Chloe, a slimegirl inside my host Amanda here, and somehow the most normal one of this group now, I guess. If you've heard 'Dr. Walker', that's me. In fact, the body you're encased in right now is Dr. Zoe Hildebrand."

Kazumi blushed. "...THAT was Dr. Hildebrand? Emmy! Wasn't that the doctor you said had a lot of..." Kazumi looked down at the massive breasts currently in her possession. "...uh, lab space?"

"Kazumi..!"

"Look, I'm just trying to get my bearings here!" Kazumi said, crossing her arms. "And I thought my job was weird. You know that Yabusa Motors is starting their trials on interfacing humans and vehicles? Like, essentially creating a hybrid vehicle-person, where this hybrid might drive someone to a location, transform out of vehicle-mode to person-mode, and then go have lunch while waiting to drive them back? No more parking fees or anything. They're starting a pilot project in Spiral City and Hideki Tech wants to compete in that space. And yet, that's nothing compared to what you just told me!"

The remainder of the car ride was filled with you bringing Kazumi up to speed on everything. The trip was roughly an hour to get to the resort hotel, so there was plenty of time to explain various details about the things Zoe and Chloe could do, what Ela was capable of, things you tried already... omitting a few details of what you thought were better kept between Ela and yourself.

Once you arrived at the hotel and checked in to a very large, roomy suite with two beds and a pull-out convertible couch, you were finally ready for relaxing, or playing, or whatever else in between. It wasn't long before sunset, so the big play day would definitely have to start tomorrow, but there was plenty you could think of doing with the remainder of the day and your various companions.
