Given my lack of attachment to Nita, it dawns on me that I only need exactly 50 gems and some effective lying to add her children to my achievement tally. Alright then… it’s awkward, but obvious.

… but of course, next comes temptation unfolding down from the new customization. Advanced options right off the rip, at least two of them of great use.

The last one seems kind of affordable for what it accomplishes… but no, I don’t even need to spend gems to get there, right? What matters is that she just got the Gem Health Program, a fertile womb... and now, the ability to believe any lie I tell her.

Okay, let’s try this. “It’s alright,” I say with a smile, “I’m your tutor, after all, so we can do it right in your home.”

“Tutor… you're here to tutor... me?” Just as I’m afraid her mind rejected the absurd premise of me teaching our school's greatest overachiever anything, she asks, “But I’m tutoring a… I don’t need… ah, I guess, I’m so sorry, I… got confused, or… wow, I guess I forgot?” Watching her face twist in confusion until she slowly accepts my premise is worrying at first, but finally she firmly asks, “Can we schedule it for another day? I don’t want to be late, I’m… well, ironically I’m supposed to be on my way to tutor another student! A freshman, she really-”

“Don't worry, we won't take too long... I mean, is anyone here? At your house?”

“Ah... well, no?”

Well, this just gets better and better. “Alright then, won't you invite us in? The faster we finish today's lesson, the faster you can go tutor that freshman!”

“I-I'm... I'm so sorry, Master, I... don't remember what... um, you're tutoring me on. I can't even remember scheduling it, again, I'm so sorry!”

I flash her a grin as I put my car into park. “It's alright... we're studying human anatomy.”

“Anatomy...?”

Five minutes later...

Nita Perez' home is a luxurious, beautiful interior with some bizarre modern-art touches here and there: square furniture, esoteric art pieces, and polished marble wherever the architect could manage to squeeze another cubic inch of the stuff without upsetting the buyers. This design from the ground floor flowed up the floating marble stairs, down the polished wood hall, and into Nita's bedroom where all manner of violent, oppressive pink awaits us.

The brief tour ends here, with her awkwardly standing in her room as she eyes me and Patricia with some kind of expectation. “So you mentioned anatomy, but um... well, was this tutoring for college? I mean anatomy doesn't really factor into AP Chem...”

“Oh, it's... something like that. It's more about tutoring you to be an adult... and a mother.”

She blinks as she processes that... and to my surprise, shakes her head. “I... scheduled something like that? B-But I... what does that even mean? Is this like... Health?”

Patricia earns both our attention as she closes Nita's door, cutting the teen off from escape. Atta girl. I turn back and watch as Nita's head cocks sideways, confused. “I tutor women on how to enjoy sex... and how to carry babies. You hired me to do this, remember?”

Nita's eyes go wide as she backs away from me. The slim jeans she wears hit the edge of the bed; the t-shirt flutters as the girl in it twitches. “N-No... I don't remember. I-I... I believe you, b-b-but I don't know what I was thinking! I don't want this lesson anymore. I... I would like for you two to leave, now.”

It seems convincing her of a cheap lie still won't change her opinion or desire about it.
