An offer she cannot refuse

"So..." Rose began hesitantly. John was not sure if she was trying to stall for time, or actually was just curious "If you are going to delete our memories of this day anyway, mind telling me why it is that you cannot get us more of them? Hell, what I would like to know even more is how the actual fuck you even managed to ever do it at all!"

"Of course, I will not tell you. On the off chance that you do somehow escape from here unaffected, I will not spill the beans now. Why would I take that chance? The only thing I can tell you, if that is any consolation to you, we do not have to detonate several nuclear bombs every time we do it. It still requires a huge amount of energy, but nothing we cannot manage every now and then."

John could see Roses brain working, see her processing that information and drawing her conclusions from it. What those were and if they would help them in any way, he did not know. Tanya just quietly looked down at her shoes, her shoulders sinking down in defeat. There must be something John could do...

"Come on, President Brown, please, is there nothing any of us can do to convince you to just let us go? I mean I can only speak for myself but I don't really know anything much, at least nothing I truly understand. And you told these two nothing too important you just said so yourself." President Brown fixed him with a calculating look.

"Let me guess, John" Seeing the surprised look on his face she interjected "Of course I know who you are, I have taken you to this world after all. Maybe not personally, but I was involved at the very least. Let me guess... you will try to offer me something in return to let all of you go, won't you? Something very rare in this world?"

She almost sounded bored. John had to admit he had been thinking about that possibility. She may not have been his type exactly, but she was far from ugly. "Well, would it..." John began, but she just laughed "Come on. Have you not listened to me? I am the one person responsible for the program to bring men into this world. several of them every year. Once a month even if everything goes smoothly. And I have the technology to wipe memories."

A grin spreads over her face "Someone has to test them out, before releasing them to the world, right?" Tanya gasps and Rose shot her a scandalized look. "So in other words, no John, offering me sex will not work. Not this time. Not on me." He could hear Rose mumbling "monopolizing men for herself like that.. old bat."

John, however, had an idea. "What if I were to offer you something that I am pretty sure is something almost no woman here has ever even dared to dream about?" President Brown raised her eyebrows "Oh yeah? And what is that? As I said, I have had the pleasure with you before. You were not bad, I give you that, but far from beating out my very dreams."

"Oh no" John smirked now "It would not be me doing it. Well, at least not just me." President Brown rolled her eyes in annoyance "So you want these two to join in and help out to please me? Sure, that MAY even be a good time if they do it properly but again, nothing I..." John cut in "No. Not them"

She fixed him with an intense look. John was not sure if she was angry about being interrupted or if it slowly dawned on her what he had in mind. "I was thinking about the ultimate offer. You and me. And a friend of mine. Another guy, that is." Tanya gasped loudly. Rose mumbled, "Hell, would that even be possible?"

President Brown did not respond for quite some time, just looking at John, her head resting on her fingertips. More to herself than to any of them she murmured "I have heard legends about this, rumors. Two men with one woman. It seemed ridiculous. A fairy tale. Unthinkable. But maybe not..." She made another long pause. "How would I know you are not making this up? I mean there is no other guy in this building I can assure you that."

"Erm... I could give him a call? I have his phone number." Suddenly, President Brown sounded eager. "Do it! But put it on speaker, no tricks I want to hear it." John shrugged "Okay then." He took the phone out of his pocket and dialed Steves number. The speaker sounded through the dead silence of the room when John put his phone down on the table in front of him.

One beep. Two beeps. John was afraid he was not going to answer. Three beeps. Still nothing. Come on Steve! Right after the fourth beep John heard a familiar voice on the other end. "Hello?" Steve sounded surprised. John probably would have been too in his place. After all, he practically doe snot know anybody here yet.

"Hi it's me, John. Listen, we were thinking about getting together later anyway, right?"

"Right. Why, do you have to cancel or something? Want to meet another time?"

"Oh, nono that is not it" John could see the excitement in the faces around him, especially on President Brown. "Listen, this may sound a bit strange to you now, but... There is this woman I met today, wait I will send you a picture."

John looked over to get confirmation on sending out that picture and she nodded eagerly. "Hot." Steve said in response "So erm.. why exactly are you showing her to me again?"

"I am so glad you think that way. I am showing her to you because I was thinking about you and me getting together to, well you know team up on her for a bit."

John had expected hesitation., He even feared an outright refusal. His only hope was, that Steve seemed to have a thing for slightly older women at least. But the response was fast and direct "So, you wanna do that like now? I mean do her? You know what I mean."

John looked over to her and she snarled "Yes of course now you idiot!" Wow. Seems like after all that talk of not needing him, John now had her under his spell completely with the prospect of being taken on by two guys at once.

"Yeah, now would be great if you have time." At that point, President Brown actually snatched the phone out of his hand. In a buttery sweet voice, not comparable to the way she talked before, she told him "Great to hear that darling. Just tell us where you are right now and we will send a car to pick you up and get you here as fast as we can. I can't wait to meet you."
