An inexperienced king

The party talked among themselves like they didnt care about her. She often tried to chip in but she was shunned most of the time. They talked about something called pizza, and about logging and other... Akari realises she doesnt know a lot about this world. Laura makes it very clear, telling Akari to be silent like an npc, whatever that means. She has **** but to do so and just follow.

She hears them repeat one name often, somebody called Elise, they didnt like her at all. It seems she is mean, and they did something to her they felt sorry for, but john reminds them that they cant revert what has been done.

After what seems like an hour, they have arrived at a richer part of the city. mAny more merchants from different continents seem to have arrived. Druids, clerics, scientists... usually it is more focused on business, but something is clearly different this time. The party walks deeper and deeper into this district untill they arrive at a palace where the royal court sleeps whenever they visit, the last time being 200 years ago. A duo of guards stop them, a leonin and and a goliath woman crossing their halberts. Laura immedietly speaks up.

Sighs... "Mister Riverton has sent us a letter requesting the help of an adventurers party? Well... here we are... open up." She rolls her eyes, but seems to use some kind of spell to influence her way of talking, Akari knows she will be able to learn that too when she grows stronger, but never before she had seen it being used so casually like a tool. The guards eyes glow bright pink and step aside, letting the party head inside seeing a throneroom. Akari remembers the banners showing the first king being crowned by dragons, starting a peace that has lasted till this day in a throneroom looking very much like this one. A crowned individual sits on the throne, a young but handsome man compared to the guards besides him.

"Welcome, Welcome! Have a seat, do you want tea? Layla? Layla! Bring our guests a drink and fill their bellies, we finally meet our saviors. I have looked far and wide for people like you, but Riverton told me you were the best of the best." The king bows before the party.
