Chapter 3 by Aphelion

What is the first thing up for auction?

An honest to god elf

"First up! One of the finest items of the night if I do say so myself," the auctioneer swept an arm into a fanciful bow, "a princess of the elves, provided by some of our most appreciated patrons. Meet Llexilwen rue Polsara!" the auctioneer laughed, "or Lexi for short!"

"An elf! Oh my god, she's so hot," shouted Kat.

"W-w-w-w-what? T-this is some kind of joke, right? She's in character? This is some kind of dance partner auction for charity, right Damien?" Kayla eyed their dapper friend desperately, eyes wide.

Janette blinked, then grinned widely. "Is this an honest to god **** auction? Oh my god, that's amazing. And if dumb sluts like that are being sold they only have themselves to blame."

Terrence nudged Janette. "What are you saying Jan? You can't sell people!"

Jan shrugged. "It's not a person, it's an elf. Elves aren't real Ter, I'm sure this is a stunt or something. . . and if it isn't, well, like I said, how could it be a person if nobody knows it exists."

Terrence pulled back, clearly disturbed, but also unable to really argue against that. Everyone knew elves weren't real.

Wyatt just watched the elf princess as she was shown off at the top of the room, his brow furrowed.

She was beautiful of course. Long luscious blonde hair, long delicate pointed ears, flawless skin, a tiny pointed nose, and thin heart-shaped lips. She wasn't as tall as Wyatt would have expected from reading fantasy fic, but she was also way curvier, busty and with an ass that wouldn't quit, with the tiniest waist he'd seen on a real woman. She was all out of proportion, so even though her tits and ass weren't the biggest he'd seen, on her shorter and thinner frame they looked a blade's edge this side of caricature. Her vibrant sky blue eyes were wide, and she didn't carry herself with grace so much as walked tall into inevitability, somehow defeated and standing straight at the same time.

"Good news!" cried the auctioneer, "this will be our first sudden **** auction of the night. For those who don't know, bids will be heard until one is accepted. Shouting is not permitted. Bidders will be recognized by yours truly, and present their case. If your bid is not accepted, you are only allowed to bid again if all other interested bidders have been heard — so choose carefully."

"Damien, what's going on?" asked Kayla, shaking.

"The rich and fabulous — and fabulously lucky," D grinned, "live different lives. Most of these auctions aren't living things, but yeah, this happens from time to time," he looked at Kayla, lips curled downward, "if you aren't comfortable with it you can always leave." There was no honesty in his faux-empathetic pout.

Nobody else showed any sign of leaving. If anything Jan and Kat both looked excited to see what was going to happen. Terrence was staring down at his lap, and Wyatt was hyper-focused on the princess.

What's the first bid?
