An explanation

“What happened? Why am I like this? What the hell is going on?” she demanded, her voice somewhere between fury with how she had likely been violated and gratitude for finally getting answers.

“Where do I start?” the girl sighed her hands covering her eyes “do you remember me?”

Slowly Diana shook her head, the girl seemed heartbroken.

“Do you remember my sister Mira?” she asked and again Diana shook her head.

Then the girl suddenly grew afraid of her as she timidly asked “and Master? Do you remember Master?”

Her eyes were on the verge of tears, and her voice was one of silent pleading. As if this Master was so important and the idea of not knowing who they were was some sort of tragedy.

“There is no one who I would ever call Master” she spar causing her ‘daughter’ to gaze upon her with fear and pity.

“Mom, I am so sorry” she whispered “we’ll get this sorted right away”

She begun to leave the room but Diana grabbed

“What’s going on? Where’s the Justice League? Why do I look like this?” she demand and the girl sighed.

“There is no Justice League. They were an evil group, fighting for people’s ‘freedom’” she spat, words like venom as if freedom was a problem.

“You need to accept that now the women of the world exist to have one purpose. To serve our Master” the woman explained “you too”

At that moment a phone rung and her daughter picked it up. Her face dawned in understanding.

“Ah I understand now. Master has made an announcement, he gave you amnesia because he thought it’d be fun to see you try and see how you react. So there’s nothing to worry about” she said her face brightening up “now all I have to do is help you get used to things today”
