An experiment gone wrong

This what-if scenario imagines what would happen if a person in the world of Undercover Agent got powers like the protagonist of Defeat by Modesty.

STORY MOVED INTO ITS OWN SPINOFF STORY.

Finally, you think to yourself. It had taken you an agonizingly long time to find the HQ of the mysterious organization.

You arrive at the gates in the dark of night, slowing down time to normal as you inspect the best way to break in undetected. After a few minutes of inspection, you determine the best way that would avoid the cameras, alarms and all the other annoying stuff. Not that it would catch you anyway, what with you being able to effectively manipulate the flow of time, but one can never be too careful.

The accident that had given you powers had taken place in one of the labs belonging to this organization. Unfortunately, there had been no survivors, and doctors had told you it was a miracle you woke up from your coma at all. But now, finally, there would be answers.

You walk impossibly fast - or rather, you slow down time around you then leisurely stroll to your destination - until you reach the computer you were looking for. Finding the correct password doesn't take long - you did your research, after all.

Right as you are about to access the data you're looking for, you hear a voice behind you.

"Stop right there."
