Chapter 15 by Spectre.exe Spectre.exe

What is your response?

An exchange of information ensues

"Holy... I mean, of course, I'll try to help in any way I can... Damn, I can't believe you're really from another world," you say out loud in order to keep the ruse.

"Is it so strange?" she asks, frowning.

"Are you kidding? Magic doesn't even exist here! People have wondered if intelligent life existed beyond our world, but they never even thought about people crossing from one world to another."

"I didn't come here exactly by choice, your realize," she hisses and you give her an apologetic wince. "It's not surprising there's no magic in this world. The Veil is ridiculously thick here, I can feel it... but that means getting back home will be a pain," she says with a heavy sigh.

"So you'll probably have to stick around for a while, right?"

"Unfortunately, that is so. Tell me more of this world... this Earth. I wish to know more," she asks as she settles into the couch.

With a nod, you sit near her on the couch to gauge her reaction. Though she seems slightly uncomfortable, she doesn't move away, which you take as a good sign. If she wasn't a look-alike copy, she'd probably be standing the farthest possible from you. After a moment of consideration, you decide to start giving her general information on the world. It's kind of strange to be talking about the world as if you were really speaking with someone not born in it... but whatever it takes to get into her robotic pants, so to speak.

As the minutes tick away, you keep talking, giving her a feel of her new home for the foreseeable future.

"And this Church of yours - it's led by males? Following the example of this Jesus, this... son of God?"

"Pretty much, yeah."

"Huh... it sounds much like the Chantry of Thedas, just in reverse," she muses out loud, running a hand through her blonde hair.

With you being on the lookout for any chance to move things along, you pounce on the in she's given you without realizing it.

"Thedas; is that the name of your world? I'd like to hear about it... if you don't mind, that is," you finish with an awkward tilt. How are you hypothetically supposed to act around travelers from another world, anyway?

"No, no, it's fine. You have taken me into your home, it's only fair I give you the same courtesy . I shall be Ghil-Dirthalen, the one to guide you to knowledge," she says with a resolute nod.

You give her an excited grin, partly from triumph and partly in anticipation to see how the guys from the company handled the info dump of lore from the games. "Great. Just one question, those words you sometimes use... are they a special language?"

"Indeed, they are from the language of the ancient elves, when Arlathan still stood as the pinnacle of elven civilization!" she exclaims with a great deal of pride in her voice. "Why?"

"I was thinking... maybe you could teach me? I like learning new languages." And that was actually no lie at all!

Mihrana narrows her eyes and it's not hard to see the hesitation on her features. "Perhaps... I will have to think about it. Now, what can you tell me of Earth?"

The next few hours pass slowly as you start filling her in knowledge of the world that she might need or find useful. You give her a rough overview of Earth's main aspects, like general broadstrokes about history, the different people of this planet and the technological advances humanity has achieved. You can see she's impressed.

"And you say there are dozens of religions? I'd never thought such a thing possible. In Thedas, the Chantry would call for an Exalted March against anything that threatened their hold on the people and the nations."

"Well, keep in mind that some religions did something similar here as well. The Crusades of Christianity, for example. In fact, there are a lot of parallels between Christianity and your Andrastianism." Oh yeah, what a surprise, considering the later was based on the former... but she didn't need to know that small tidbit. "But we left that age centuries ago. Now, most religions live in relative peace between them... mostly."

"Really?" she asked with skepticism before she shrugged. "That sounds rather hard to believe... but well, you're the one who's lived in this world." With that, she slightly sniffed at herself rather naturally and without shame. "I only now realize that it's been quite a bit since the last time I had a bath. Could I intrude on your generosity and use your bathroom?" she asked with a serious voice.

An opportunity!

"Of course! Here let me show you - it's probably very different from what you're used to."

Teaching her how to use the shower from your flat was easier than expected. The men from the company had been pretty ingenious in designing her intelligence. She was ignorant of the world, but not stupid. Once she got over the culture shock of such starkly different things and saw how everything worked, she was able to use the shower as if she'd been born in Earth.

'Which she kinda was,' you thought with amusement.

"I'll let you do things in... huh, private. Call me if you need anything. And remember to use the shampoo for the hair. Trust me, you'll love it!"

Robosluts were water-proof even if water got into tiny crevices like tear ducts and such, so you weren't worried. In fact, you had more interesting things in mind, like thinking that you'd get to watch her nude until you earned her trust. Spying on her made you feel... well, not really clean. It made you felt kinda like a pervert... but it wasn't like Mihrana was a true person, right?

Peeping on her, you watched in anticipation as the petite elf discarded her elaborate robes, eyes widening as they pooled around her ankles and you finally got to see the pale skin of her body. Pulse racing, you drank in the sight of her small breasts swaying to her movement as she grabbed her clothes and folded them neatly on a small stool. You caught only glimpses of small tufts of blonde hair near her womanhood. It was only a flash, but it was enough to leave you wanting more.

But whatever excitement had been building up in you swiftly evaporated when minutes after jumping into the shower, Mihrana punched the wall with quivering shoulders and slid to the floor in silence.

It took you a single moment that stretched into an eternity to realize she was sobbing.

'Well, shit...'

What will happen next?
