House Leontes' Tutor, a distinguished looking older wizard with quick, sometimes jittery motions, bearing a rather conspicuous array of warding charms as befits a retired champion of magical duelling, looks at you with raised eyebrows.

"Yes, Tutor. I want Granny Threadneedle to supervise my upper grade studies."

Sharper looks like he's going down a mental list of why didn't you pick so-and-so but he jerks his shoulders straight, nods, and says, "Very well. I will ask Housemaster for his concurrence, giving my endorsement of your plan."

He looks down at the letter again and frowns but doesn't quite cringe at whatever Granny Threadneedle has written. You imagine something like YOU OWE ME, SHARPER. or YOU CAN'T HANDLE A HEDGE WITCH I CAN or even GIVE ME THE GIRL AND NO ONE GETS HURT from the look on his face.

You're not unacquainted with demanding mistresses, and Granny Threadneedle seems no worse than any.
