An attempt at negotiations, Wuoliffside's might

Skyler looks from the door to Wuoliffside's quad-cluster-colored diamond eyes. His focus on her causing the noise outside to fade into nothingness. "You didn't answer me before. I know you think it doesn't matter, but it does to me." Her head tilts slightly to the side before he continues to speak. "Did you bring those people here or not?" Her expression softens. Her downward-turned lips slightly pucker as she looks off to the side. "Yes, but I did it for us." He looks to her hands still holding his arms. "Is it really for us? Or is it because you want to add me to your collection?"

She looks deep into his brown/green hazel eyes. "Both. You would be the pinnacle of my collection." He blinks several times as his heart skipped a beat. 'T-that was a fast reply. No, no. That can't be right.' His head barely twitches as he shakes that thought from his mind. 'She is just toying with me. I'm just the current interest. Her interest will vanish upon finding the next thing she wants.' His breath quivers as his expression softens. "Until you find something better, right?" Her right upper hand lifts to his cheek.

She softly smiles while her fingertips glide tenderly along his cheek. "I'm not sure that is possible." A shiver ran down his spine. He couldn't take his eyes off her. She was a beautiful woman, but those words made her look enchanting. He was truly at a loss for words. She leans in, brushing his lips with hers. "Be mine. All mine, and only mine, Skyler." For this moment he truly didn't know what to do or say. This couldn't be real, but it was a dream he never wanted to wake from.

The tension between them was shattered when the bedroom double doors slid wide open. Shady, Taki, Emily, Daiki, and Rodovar were standing in the doorway. He blinks, turning to look at them. However, before he can say anything, Wuoliffside throws him to the bed a few feet away and pulls out her sword. By the time his body touched the bed, she had managed to knock out Emily, Daiki, and Rodovar with one clean strike. Taki and Shady managed to move out of the way a half second before a blast of air hit where Wuoliffside had struck.

Wuoliffside grins. "Hmm, I must apologize for assuming you two were amateur fighters." She tilts her head to the left then right, causing a cracking sound before cracking her knuckles. "I'll make this quick. I don't want to keep my pet waiting." Taki pulls out two kunai. "Bring it, bitch." Shady's hands lift, and her lips quickly move. A warm glow surrounds Taki and Shady. Taki rushes at Wuoliffside. Wuoliffside leaps back, her moth wings spread out, allowing her to change direction midair while striking with her sword. The air pressure sends her flying back a little while sending Taki flying across the room.

Skyler couldn't believe his eyes as he carefully watched this display. This was quite peculiar. He was sitting on a bed while multiple women were fighting over him. He shook his head. 'Focus, you fool. This isn't about you!' This is when he noticed those who had been knocked out had been moved out of harm's way. He saw one injured woman dressed in ninja garb carrying Daiki's limp body to safety. 'Hmm, Taki's people are pretty resilient.' When he focused back on the room, Wuoliffside and Taki were gone.

They had run out of the room while continuing to fight. The sound of metal clashing rang through the air as they fought. Shady was providing Taki with support, but they were showing signs of wear. The battle before must have been hard on them. He looks down at his hands. 'I don't know how much longer they'll last.' He formed his hands into fists before letting them relax. His inexperience was far more impressive than those Wuoliffside had knocked out with a single blow. 'I'll only get in their way if I try to go out there.'

Wuoliffside laughs as she clashed with Taki. The joy on her face was frightening yet inspiring. He didn't know what Wuoliffside had gone through to become this skilled, but it was clear that she had the upper hand. Shady stomps her front hoofs. "Earth Mother, grant me a symbol of your might!" A small sapling forms near her front hoofs before rapidly growing into a clubbed staff made of vibrant green vines. She grabs it and charges at Wuoliffside. Wuoliffside wings flap heavily, sending Taki back toward Shady.

Shady moves to the side, allowing Taki to reach out and leap onto Shady's back. Without skipping a beat, they rush Wuoliffside together and knock her back into a thin wall. Skyler's eyes widen. He instinctively gets up from the bed and rushes toward them. By the time he gets there, Wuoliffside is nowhere to be found. Shady and Taki are breathing heavily. They are covered in cuts and scrapes. Even a few bruises, but nothing that won't heal with time. He touches Shady's right side and casts Reiki Arts twice. 50 x 2 = 100, - 100 Mp

Each time he selects the option, Restore 25% health and mana and removes vulnerabilities, restoring 50% of Shady's health and mana and removing any vulnerabilities she had at the time. With each use he can feel Shady's body both inside and out for a split second. Most of Shady's wounds and fatigue appear to melt away. Shady blinks and looks around before focusing on him. Her cheeks darkened when she realized he was touching her side. "W-what did you do to me?"

She swallows, looking down slightly. "Well, whatever you did seems to have helped. Thank you, Skyler." He smiles softly. "I'm just glad you're all right. Um, could you take care of everyone else for me? I can't heal people as efficiently as you can." He says while casting Reiki Arts two more times, selecting the same option as before. - 100 Mp This time, the rest of her wounds vanish. She nods slightly. "Leave it to me." He received a small notification saying that Reiki Arts' level had increased from 1 to 2, reducing its mana cost from 50 Mp to 45.

His eyes look toward the hole in the wall. Outside of that wall was a long drop. He knew Wuoliffside was still alive, but did she decide to retreat? Or will she be back momentarily?
