Chapter 3

What's next?

An artist on laundry day

"Stupid! Ugly! Why the hell did I even buy this?!" Haley snapped as she tossed away the last three articles of clothing from her closet on to the floor, all her other clothes in **** need of a trip to the washing machine. Letting out a frustrated groan as she stood there naked and damp from her shower with a towel on her head, the young woman pinched the bridge of her nose. "This is just great! The one time I finally get Jason to go out with me, and I have literally nothing to wear for the date! He's gonna be here in two hours, so I can't cancel. I'll never get another chance if I do! Ugh! What am I -"

The young woman's ranting came to a stop as she paused and looked over to her art studio. Being an amateur artist, Haley had several forms of art projects and supplies laying around it. However, she was currently eyeing the small pieces of fabric on the counter alongside a few cans of nontoxic and quick drying paint, the young woman putting a finger to her chin in thought.

"I am either an undiscovered genius or the biggest moron in the universe." Haley said to herself as she stared at her reflection, the young woman now dressed in a long, red and gold cocktail dress.

Or at least, that's what she hoped the casual observer would deduce.

In actuality, Haley's dress had been painted on, pieces of fabric covering her nipples, womanhood, and butt crack. The woman looked herself over again before sighing.

"This isn't gonna work." She said shaking her head. She was about to head back to the shower to wash the paint off, thankful that this wasn't waterproof, when the doorbell rang. "Oh, crap! He's here!"

Haley looked at her reflection again and whimpered. "Okay. Maybe I can make this work?" Haley asked herself, "I mean, it looks like an actual dress and you can't actually see anything. As long as we avoid anything to do with water, it should be fine, right?"

*Ding-Dong!*

"C-coming!" Haley called out as she grabbed her purse, accidentally knocking over the TV remote as she made her way towards the front door.

And as she was so busy worrying about whether this ruse would work, she completely missed the meteorologist on the TV finishing up her forecast.

"... And with a sixty percent chance of showers later tonight."

"Please don't notice. Please don't notice." Haley begged quietly as she took a deep breath and opened the door to great Jason with a nervous smile. "Jason! Hi!"

Does Jason notice that Haley's not technically dressed?
