An ancient temple to the spider goddess

Lyra speaks to a few other adventurers who have braved the darkness, learns of their progress; a few safe areas and routes that are yet to be explored.

Fully exploring the underdark could take decades or centuries. Lyra is excited to be here at the start, though also a bit scared. There many legends of the underdark, but very little is known for certain.

Before heading out she grabs her armour. A suit of tight mithril, that clings to her short elven frame, highlighting her beautiful curves and soft breasts. She has short blonde hair, with natural lavender tips, and the pale smooth skin of a light elf.

The entrance to the underdark is deep in the dwarven mine, now abandoned. Lyra heads down, staining her sword with the blood of few monstrous worms. Easy prey for a real fighter.

She makes her way through the explored areas of the under-dark, and is soon charting her own course. Through narrow tunnels, and down wide ancient roads. Beautiful crystal caves. Rivers of lava. Ancient ruins. The dens of [monsters.

As she travels she makes notes as best as she can, and makes many drawings, fascinated by everything she finds.

Unfortunately, she gets a bit too into her drawings and doesn't pay enough attention to her surroundings. She is heading over a narrow path, when the ground below her crumbles, and she plummets down into the dark....

... She awakes, lying on a cold stone floor, her body aching, her head throbbing.

Slowly she stands. Theres blood running down her face. A head wound. She hopes it is nothing serious.

She looks around her, swaying for a moment, surveying her surroundings.

It's some kind of... ancient temple. To some goddess, she has never heard of.

Looking up she can see the way she came in. Falling through the ruined roof. Maybe she could climb back up, but she doubts it.
