An Unexpected Roadblock.

George did, eventually, decide to turn his phone back on and reopen the app.

In his depression the night before, he’d forgotten to check on Tara and make sure she was alright before he left. Yeah, stereotyping her hadn’t seemed to affect her, but swapping a fundamental part of her personality with someone else’s was a far more significant change. She could be confused and in a massive amount of pain right now, and George would have no idea.

He had to switch them back before he got rid of the app. The whiplash they may get from switching back and forth was likely far better than just leaving them like this forever.

It was already late in the evening on Saturday when George pulled out his phone and turned it on, now fully charged. Opening up the app, he saw two notifications, one for the quest tab and one on Tara’s page. Since he had to go to Tara’s page anyways to make the swap, George pressed the notification button and a pop-up appeared in front of her page.

Cool, cool, not going to use that, George thought as he quickly clicked out of the pop-up after briefly scanning it to make sure the app didn’t try to screw him over again. Tara’s profile finally came up, and at the top there was a full body picture of Tara, leaning against the cubicle wall next to her desk.

God, she was hot. She was wearing the same clothes she had been wearing yesterday, but instead of being slouched over and hiding her body, she was standing straight, confidently and proudly, showing off her curvy body. It was unusual for her, and made her chest more prominent than George had ever seen before. It would be amazing to rip her shirt open and just squeeze those large, perky breasts, he thought.

Wait, where did this photo come from? There is no way Tara posed for this picture, especially since employees were banned from taking photos inside the office. Did the app… use his imagination to take the picture?

It didn’t matter. The app was trying to tempt him with sex and mystery, he wouldn’t fall for it. George scrolled down the section that said “Stereotype: Bimbo”, and clicked on the Swap button next to it.

Nothing happened. The button was grayed out. When George pressed the button again, trying to **** the process to go through, a small pop-up appeared on the screen.

George dropped the phone, letting it hit the desk with a quiet thump. It was good that the process took a few days, right? Hopefully it meant the change wouldn’t be as disorientating and traumatizing as he feared. He’d still switch them back, he’d just have to wait until Monday. He could resist using the app for that long, and after switching them back he would uninstall the app, or if that didn’t work, destroy the phone and get a new one.

George took a deep breath and pushed the cellphone further away. Civ V sounded pretty fun, he thought. It should make the weekend pass by pretty quickly.
