An Injured Girl

As you walk through the pathways you hear yet another howl, this time much closer than before. But there's also something else, quieter but still nearby - a woman's scream. You run towards the source, cutting through the underbrush as best you can.

Eventually you break through into another clearing - this one is occupied by a woman, lying on the ground holding one of her legs. She looks like a college student, maybe a tad younger than you and clearly injured. Her right ankle is torn up and bleeding heavily. Your mind instantly goes into emergency mode and you run over to her.

"Can you stand?" You ask without thinking. The woman is caught between shock and agony as she turns to you.

"I-I don't think so." She says in a pained voice, followed by a surprised yelp as you reach under her and lift her up in your arms. You've taken some first aid training and know enough that her ankle is in bad shape. You need to get her some place drier at least before you even think of anything else. You do your best to minimize the bleeding with what you have, then take off hoping you'll find something - anything to save this girl's life.
