"So," Katie told Larry at lunch, with Peter beside her, almost like an emotional support pet. "I was thinking of a piece, a good piece, something lengthy."

"Oh?" Larry asked, sizing the brunette beauty up. He didn't expect to be impressed.

"Well ... Daddy was the former Governor and all," Katie started. Larry knew that. One of the reasons he'd hired her ...along with the two jiggling softly under her pink sweater.

"Mmhm. And?"

"I thought maybe a retrospective. From the perspective of someone close to him," Katie finished. Peter reached down, squeezing her knee under the table.

"Hmm. I don't think so. Not from the perspective of just his daughter, not some fluff piece. Dig into him, who he was. Find something worth reporting."
