Amy runs into quite a peculiar crowd

Amy´s movement roll: 6. Amy loses the Trash Bag and 2 DP.

“What a nightmare,” she mused. “I hope no one in the precinct hears about this… especially Peralta and the captain. Ugh. H-hey!”

A strong gust of wind pushed Amy away from the sidewalk and into the soft sands of the beach. The trash bag fluttered like a flag in the wind, threatening to go flying like a kite. “Oh no, you don’t, NO!” Amy attempted to hold the bag, but the wind was too strong. The bag went flying away along the coast.

“W-wait, get back here!” Watching the last piece of her dignity fly away, Amy began to jog in hot pursuit, but the wind was faster. And stronger. The trash bag flew into the ocean.

“Ugh, damn it!” Amy stomped her feet, kicking the sand. “Now how am I going to go back ho-h-hi there!” Amy was so focused on the flying bag that she failed to notice she had run straight into a crowd. Surprisingly, no one was paying attention to her. Even more surprisingly, the people in front of her were also naked. “What-?”

“Hey girl, want to eat my wiener?” Amy heard a gruff voice giving her quite the indecent offer.

Amy turned around, her nose wrinkling at the indecent suggestion. “Eww, you perver- ah.“ The man was being literal. Behind her, a middle-aged cook spun some hot dogs over a grill. He was also naked, save for a small apron covering his crotch. The words “Annual Nudist Barbeque” were emblazoned across it.

“Ah, you are nudists.”

“Yep, so are you, right?”

“Yesssssssssss?”

“So, want to eat my wieners, or not?”

“You know what? Sure, give me one, man.”

Amy took a break from her little marathon to eat a snack. It felt nice to blend in, to be in a place where no one cared she was naked. She wanted to stay a while, but time was of the essence. If she didn’t arrive at the hideout or sent a message soon, the captain would presume the worst and send a search party for her. She did not want the squad to find her naked with a bunch of nudists while she was supposed to be going undercover…

But hey, maybe they had a way to contact the squad.

“I don’t suppose any of you guys have a phone, right?”

“Nope. They have been banned from our BBQ ever since a certain picture went viral. We learned our lesson the hard way.”

“Well, shoot. Thanks for the hog-dog. Gotta go.”

Amy walked away from the BBQ with a full belly. What are the odds that she would run into another group of naked people, huh?
