Alyssa

Alyssa watches Mai runoff, a little saddened that all of her friends abandoned her, but decides it's fine, she can explore this city and try to find some quests to take while she's alone, but first decides to head to the butcher the others mentioned, vaguely remembering Mai point it out as they entered the city, she turns back towards the gate.

While she walks, she glances at the variety of merchant stalls lining the wide street, selling a large variety of weapons, food, supplies, clothes, and even various miscellaneous things like tiny statues and toothbrushes, eventually, nearly at the gate, Alyssa spots a run down, with a pig-shaped sign, sporting only one word, MEAT.

Alyssa: "Finally...I was starting to think I got lost, Mai said the guy to ask for is... Rufio...I think?" She walks into the empty store, before being hit by the intense smell of meat, in various states of freshness. "Hello? I'm looking for a Rufio?!" She yells into the dark store, wondering if anyone is even in here. After a short moment the door to a back room busts open with a small cloud of dust and a shout as a very large...green man walks out wearing a highly blood-stained leather apron, his face curled into an angry scowl.

Rufio The Butcher: "You!, do you know how late it is to be yelling like that?" he half yells back himself, before sighing and returning to normal volume. "I am who ye seek, though... I don't recognize you, little one, what can I do for you tonight?"

Alyssa squeaks out in slight fear at the size of this massive man, realizing he must be some kind of orc, or maybe even a troll.

Alyssa: "S...some f...friends of mine recommended you...sir, they... they said you often buy fresh meat from adventurers..?" She is shaking a bit, looking at the green man, who towers over her, nearly hitting the ceiling with his head.

Rufio looks down at Alyssa, trying to think. "Aye... I do buy meat, how much ye selling, and what kind, let me see, let me see." He uses one of his arms to clear the massive countertop, causing a few packages of meat to flop onto the ground.

Alyssa quickly empties her inventory, putting all two-hundred pounds of deer and rabbit meat on the table, and feels quickly lighter with her pack nearly empty once more.

Rufio, now ignoring the redhead, takes a few minutes to examine the freshness and meat type of Alyssa's offering, before agreeing to purchase it all for 40 silver, 10 silver per 50 pounds of meat.

Rufio The Butcher: "Normally I would pay a bit more for this much deer meat, but recently with all these immortals arriving in the area, demand has gone down, due to the influx of hunters, so this is the best I can do." He looks a bit apologetic while setting the silver on the counter before Alyssa.

Alyssa accepts the silver, sad she didn't get as much as expected, but still relieved to get some money at least, and also wanting to leave this smelly shop as soon as she can. "Thank you, Mr. Rufio.. I'll rely on you again in the future." The large man just nods at her, before turning to pack up the delivered meat.

Upon leaving the shop, Alyssa overhears a few people discussing how the guards are looking for a reported naked girl, which causes her to blush, assuming they mean her from earlier today, causing her to head the other direction, out of earshot before hearing the description of the girl, being a short brunette.

Now that she has money, Alyssa decides to look for some sort of armor at the nearby shops, hoping to surprise her friends when they return.
