Always.

It took you awhile to focus on the face before you. You didn't comprehend it for a few brief moments because it didn't make any sense. You knew who the person was the instant you saw even part of their face. The piercing blue eyes with dark shadows around, the bleach blonde hair with a few bangs trailing her face and that perfect smile you would never forget. "Oh my god..." you mumble out.

You see her eyes move from your feet and slowly work their way up your body until finally they stop looking directly into yours "Hi Darien." her voice trails off.

"C-Claire...?" you gasp in shock as your eyes forget to blink.

It was real. The sound of her voice was so angelic and from that point on you knew it was one hundred percent Claire. You couldn't say anything even though you had thousands of words racing in your thoughts.

As you just sat there with your mouth hung open as wide as it could be. Without any second thought you immediately leapt your body into her, pulling her into you for a tight embrace before wincing slightly from pressing your pectoral into her chest.

She places a hand on each of your forearms and pushes you back "It's good to see you again." her lips curl up as her smile seems to brighten up the entire world.

"How are...How are you even here? I mean... T-There's no way..." you shake your head in disbelief.

Her cheeks bunch up as her left hand releases your forearm and goes up to your cheek and caresses you "Shhh...It's okay little brother."

"Claire..." you reply as you look into her beautiful blue eyes "I... I..."

"Listen Darien" she begins.

"Wait! Wait, Claire." you interrupt "H-How are you..." you stutter out.

Claire presses her index finger on your lips causing you to silence yourself "Shhhh..." she whispers out as she presses on your mouth "Darien, I hope you know that no matter what that I am always here with you." she looks at you, her eyes blatantly looking at you with purpose "Always..." her words louder than normal.

"Claire, I know that! It's just..." you gulp down, so happy to see your sister "How is this real?"

You notice a sparkle in her eyes as she's so overjoyed to be talking with you again "Darien..."

You wrap your arms around your sister again, holding her tight. No matter how much your pectoral muscle pulsed with pain you didn't care. You only wanted to continue holding and hugging your sister with as much pressure as you could. "I'm sorry Claire! I'm so sorry I couldn't protect you." you notice a glaze of liquid filling your eyes "I-I tried. I did!" your eyes close hard, "I just want to be here for you! No matter what!!" you grip her tighter, holding her warm body in yours. "This is perfect. I'll stay here with you. Together again!"

"No." she interrupts you "You can't stay here with me, Darien." her words are persistent "You must go! But remember that I will be here for you. Fighting with you, forever." she smiles again "You have so much more to accomplish and so much more that will come in the future! You need to go, Darien. Leave me here and go."

"I-I..." you swallow hard. "Claire...I don't want to leave you. I can't leave you again..."

"Come on little brother" her eyes narrow as she grips your forearms and pushes you backwards so she can look at you with **** "I'll always be here with you." she smiles at you once more "Right here!!" her right hand reaches out as her index finger presses right where your heart would be "Always here with you Darien." she smiles as her eyes connect with yours again "Always. Remember that." her finger still pressing on your chest right outside your heart.

You give her a sad grin. You knew what she was saying and she was right. She will always be there in your heart but seeing her again, hearing her angelic voice, feeling her touch, you didn't want to leave her.

Her hands then trail upwards as they inch along your neck up your jawbone to just below your ears. She turns her hands, cupping the side of your face as she holds you dearly just inches away from her own. She leans her forehead in and connects with your own, just resting there for a few moments "Trust me brother."

She was your older sister and you would always listen to her no matter what. "Claire..." you blink your eyes a few times as you look straight back into her blue eyes "I love you." you whisper.

"I love you too, Darien." Claire grips your face tighter and never moves her gaze from your own. "Now, wake up."

"W-Wait, huh?" you reply.

"Wake up, Darien." she says with more authority as her loving smile turns into a playful smirk. "It's time for you to go."

"I-I don't... I don't understand?"

"Wake up!!" she says again as her head tilts forward and puckers her lips out, giving you a quick little peck on your lips.

That magical touch caused everything around you to completely disappear as your vision got consumed by nothing but light.
