I'm thrilled to hear that you had an open and honest conversation with Annie, and that she was so understanding and supportive. That's exactly the kind of communication and partnership that makes for a strong marriage. It's wonderful that she's willing to stand up for you and set boundaries with her friend.

Oh gosh, Mr. D, sorry to bother you but it has been an awful day, I'm ready to walk up the aisle and my best man got sick, now I'm waiting for Luca, of all people, to step in and take his place. The priest is ready but my fiancee's maid of honor is spreading the word to every one that it may take a little bit longer to be sure the bride is properly attended to and satisfied. Luca is also nowhere to be found and on top of that I just over heard a group of Sindie’s, the maid of honor’s, friends talking about something going on in the church parking lot, back by the dumpster. I couldn't make out what it was they were saying but after Sindie whispered something to them they started giggling and looking over at me ... I did make out a couple of names and by coincidence they were the same names as some of my co-workers.

It is so odd ... I wonder what is going on ... I'm having second thoughts about letting Luca be my best man. Can you make any sense about what is happening? Also do you think it is OK to let Luca be my best man or should I go find him and tell him … no!? And maybe ... I should have someone check out what is happening in the parking lot!? Oh, it is so confusing ...
