Embrace the Chaos

Mr. D

Well, Tim, it sounds like you're dealing with quite the chaotic situation. Let's break it down and try to make sense of everything.

First, your best man getting sick is unfortunate, but it happens. It's not ideal that Luca is stepping in, given your history, but sometimes you have to make do with what you've got in **** situations.

The maid of honor mentioning that the bride needs to be ‘satisfied’ before the ceremony starts is a bit concerning. Is there something going on there? It's possible she's referring to nerves or last-minute preparations, but it's worth checking in with Annie to ensure everything is alright. Remember it is up to you to look out for her, especially since she's so sweet, innocent and maybe **** to trusting the wrong sort.

And, the commotion in the parking lot, it's definitely suspicious. Overhearing your coworkers' names being mentioned by Sindie’s friends and seeing them laughing could indicate that someone is up to some sort of mischief. Or … maybe you are just letting your imagination run wild.

As for Luca being your best man, that's a tough call. On one hand, he's already agreed and it would be awkward to rescind the offer now. On the other hand, given his history of bullying and inappropriate behavior, it could lead to further issues during the wedding.

If you decide to go with Luca, I strongly suggest having a serious talk with him before the ceremony. Step up and make it clear that any misbehavior or disrespect towards you or Annie will result in immediate removal from the wedding party. Ultimately, the decision is yours, Tim. The one you love is depending on you. If you take my advice and confront the issues now, I believe the rest of your wedding should go smoothly and you and Annie will have a wonderful start to your married life together.

Wishing you the best of luck, Tim. May your wedding be filled with memories that will last a lifetime. Congratulations on your special day!

Tim

I’m sorry, Mr. D, I never got a chance to check up on Annie like you suggested. Gosh, Mr. D, I was so distraught and confused ... instead of confronting and having a serious talk with Luca as you advised I just trusted him to get us through this mess … even though he has started to refer to Annie as a ‘little rag doll’ again.

Even though it has been quite a fiasco, Mr. D, Annie and I are finally married!

It definitely hasn't been a joyous occasion other than maybe one moment right after the priest pronounced us wed and Annie, trembling, collapsed in my arms as we kissed. We love each other so much, but ... there was something else … it was almost like she was confused and frightened and looking for me to hold her tight and protect her. She barely said a word and was a bit out of it the entire time.

Her maid of honor told me that she had a rough time after she was given some medication to relax her before the big event. Sindie said that was the reason Annie was late. I guess that was also the reason for the wobbly bowlegged state she was in when she finally appeared and could barely walk down the aisle. She at one point even stumbled and Luca had to go and help her up while the priest gave the vows.

When I finally reached out to hold her as she collapsed in my arms, Luca had to press up against her from behind with his arms across her chest just to keep her from sliding to the floor as I sandwiched her between us for our wedding kiss. I could feel her warm breast rub against my chest as Luca held her in place for our embrace.

I was so taken at that moment by my sweet Annie and my love for her! She even moaned a bit as I felt her hot breath on my lips when I leaned forward to kiss her passionately. But then ... gosh! … I did have to wrinkle my nose a bit because her breath had an awful musky smell to it. I learned from her bride's maid that the bad smell was probably due to her reaction to the medication she was given, but I love her so much that it of course didn't matter.

The bride and groom usually drive off after the wedding to go to the reception but Annie was so out of it that again her maid of honor stepped in and told me that she would see to it that Annie was taken care of, and she would have her cleaned up and ready to go again at the reception in an hour. I was so thankful for her help, but it seemed strange driving off by myself and leaving Annie behind ... I looked out of the window of the limousine as I left. It seemed Annie had a dazed almost panicked look on her face as her best friend and maid of honor, giggled and whispered something in her ear. Have you ever heard of such an odd wedding?
