Alphamon

"The human body is quite...interesting," Alphamon pondered as it stretched an arm.

When it had left the digital world to investigate the eaters, it never expected it would have undergone such a transformation. No, transformation was the wrong word. It hadn't actually changed forms, it more so disguised itself with this empty shell, a lucky convenience.

Kyoko Kuremi, an investigate who had stumbled upon an eater by accident. She had been attacked and while Alphamon had noticed, they had failed to reach her in time. The eater had consumed most of her mental data. It was a tragedy.

Alphamon had managed to save what it could...but a decent chunk of Kyoko...was just gone. The royal knight would have left it at that, disperse her data and pay respects and offer apologizes for failing another against the threat. Yet...something resonated.

"Take what you can," Kyoko had told it. She had given them what remained of mental data, Alpha didn't know why she trusted it. Perhaps it was a last ditch effort, perhaps she sensed something familiar. Either way what remained of Kyoko's mental data was absorbed by Alphamon and with it...the digimon was able to her form in the cyber world and then possess her body in the real world.

"You are a noble human," Alphamon spoke with its new feminine voice as it glanced at Kyoko's reflection in the window. Her memories were still there and it was giving Alphamon and idea on how to naviagte this new world.

Kyoko was a detective, an expert at information gathering with numerous connections. She was truly a perfect partner for Alphamon, at least the knight thought so. If only things had been different. Nonetheless the knight would definitely try her best. Kyoko had sacrificed herself to help find the truth, now Alpha would honor her.

This body was now its burden, its responsibility and it would do her justice. Smiling to herself the new Kyoko took a sip of her coffee. It was bland admittedly but she would fix that. Nevertheless she had to get work soon and disocver what she could about the eaters and how they were releated to the human world, more specifically...Eden, the humans' own digital world. Luckily she already had an idea and it was the perfect one to use Kyoko's special skills for.
