Alone, but bound, and in a strange place...

Gilia jerks awake. Her head is killing her, and her stomach feels bruised, complaining when she takes a deep breath. She groans and tries to sit up.

That's how she finds out that she's both bound and nude.

"Ahhh! What the fuck?!" Gilia yelps. She twists around, trying to get at the ropes tying her hands behind her back, but of course she can't reach them. Similar rope - very soft, seemingly made of woven grass - binds her ankles together, preventing her from actually getting up and moving around. She rolls onto her back and tries to turn her head to get a better look at her surroundings.

She seems to be...in a strange building in a beautiful forest? It's a stone building, and it almost looks similar to the one she was in before, but it's intact and clearly much smaller - through the glassless window in the nearest wall she can see the forest. The forest looks different, too: trees are bigger, colors are more vibrant. But it's all still...very peaceful. As she looks around, though, it's also odd. The house has a floor and a fireplace, with a rug that she's lying on in front of it and a simple, rustic table on the far side. There's a door on the floor. But there's also stairs that seem to start in the middle of one wall, and a door on the ceiling as well. How is anyone supposed to use those?!

Deciding that's not the most important question right now, Gilia wriggles around onto her side again and tests her bindings. Whatever that thing was that attacked me, it doesn't seem to be here right now...maybe if I can get loose, I can sneak out before it comes back!
