You nod and go up to the cash register, already Luke is there filling out a form. She is wearing a yellow sundress and matching high heels.

“Do you need me to pay for anything,” you offer.

Luke shakes her head, “I had them deliver everything to the house. It’s part of the deal with the Neighborhood Association.”

You smile and put your arm around her waist. “Then let’s get your home then.”
