Alkadabuki

Doom arrives at the wall to find Alkadabuki's army now standing before the gates. A bunch of mostly unclothed men and women with wildly different skin, hair and eye colours. An army made out of all the collective barbarian tribes, apparently included nationalities from all over the continent. It's clear just from looking at them that they were not a cohesive group. There was no mingling among the different tribes, each of them kept entirely to themselves. Without Alkadabuki they would probably quickly separate again. This would make Alkadabuki the weak point in any normal scenario, except of course for the fact that the army was hardly necessary and she could likely solo any enemy on her own. Raig was up on the wall with Croya beside him. Down below, Kasi, Isidora and others were ready to fight on the field. Gitta was nervously watching the enemy army. Cara was nowhere to be seen, Vox and Belleza were on the wall as well, though Vox would probably move to the field to work as a healer and buffer once the battle moved out of the city.

It was clear that a siege wouldn't be happening after all. This fight was going to be decided quickly. There was no doubt in anyone's mind that Alkadabuki could tear the gates down with her bare hands. A notion she reinforced quickly as the horns died out and she called out instead. "Open the gates and face me! I would simply tear them down, but soon this castle would be mine and I'd rather not damage it," she threatens.

Raig yells back, "Come tear them down!" immediately and Doom looks surprised, but shrugs. The effect would be the same in the end. Alkadabuki shrugs and begins to approach at which point Raig yells again, "hit her!" all the archers and mages on the wall let loose on her as she approaches. Doom watches her spirits rise up to shield her as she reaches the gates and Raig breathes in and transforms into his dragon form as he bathes her and the entire area in front of the gate with dragon fire. The fire engulfs her, completely obscuring her from view. Doom can't even see the spirits through the flames, but any hope that the fire had been enough to stop Alkadabuki was torn away immediately as the gates suddenly exploded inwards, flattening some of the waiting defenders as at the same time the arch above the gate gave in dropping Raig and many others who had been on the wall as it collapsed, many dying immediately from the fall, Doom managed to escape from the collapse, but Raig fell, his flame ceasing. Alkadabuki reappeared as the flames died, her clothes again burned away and her skin a burning red as it rapidly healed from the fire. Raig falls towards her as the wall collapses around her and she glances up and raises her sword. Raig desperately tries to catch himself, but can't as he lands on the sword, which pierces into his throat. His hands grab at the sword as choked noises escape from him.

"Raig Ruya, we let you live once before. We gave you mercy because our friend Runa requested it, but I see that was a mistake," Alkadabuki says, her skin fully healed. Raig desperately lashes out as he chokes on the sword filling his throat. His tail whips against her side, the blow was clearly hard enough it would have bisected anyone else, but she barely seems to notice it. Croya fell alongside Raig and she was in a daze, she glanced up to see what's happening and her eyes widened in shock.

"A mistake I will correct," Alkadabuki says and then whips her sword sideways, the blade slicing through Raig's throat as his body is launched aside, his head tearing from his body.

"No!" Croya screams and transforms into a sleek golden scaled dragon with a long serpentine body. She slams into Alkadabuki who catches her with her shield and knocks her away, but Croya continues forward with her momentum and begins to coil around Alkadabuki, attempting to crush her with her serpentine body. Alkadabuki is actually caught off guard and stuck as the coils squeeze around her, pinning her arms to her side, both women struggling against each other. Alkadabuki tries to **** the coils to loosen while Croya struggles to crush her. Alkadabuki's strength is considerably higher than Croya's, but Croya has the advantage. With Alkadabuki's arms pinned it's difficult for her to get much strength into them, still Croya is struggling to hold her.

Alkadabuki's army sees her situation and begins to move to help her. Archers fire at Croya, but their arrows bounce off her hard scales and Doom realizes now is the time. He yells for everyone to do their best to assist Croya. The archers and mages still on the wall focus their attacks now on the enemy troops, trying to prevent them from helping Alkadabuki as the defenders lying in wait rush out to create a wall preventing them from reaching her.

The fighting is brutal as the two sides clash. Doom rushes down to try and assist Croya. Unfortunately he arrives just in time to watch their hope die. As Doom reaches the two, Croya suddenly begins to puke blood from her mouth as Doom can see that Alkadabuki had managed to angle her sword and thrust it into Croya's underbelly, "No... No no no!" Doom yells and screams for Vox and any other healers, but it's too late. Alkadabuki uses the sword to **** Croya to release her enough that Alkadabuki can slip her arms out and grabs hold of Croya before tearing her in half and tossing the two halves away.

Raig is dead, Croya is dead and Alkadabuki is unharmed. Doom stares at her, they are mere meters from each other. Alkadabuki glances at him and raises her sword, taking a step towards him, before a large club slams into the side of her head from behind. She is unfazed and turns, launching Kasi back with a solid punch to the stomach. Kasi lands on the ground and then quickly gets back up, her tattooed eyes glowing as she screams, "I am the Daughter of The Dragon! I will not be defeated!"as she rushes at Alkadabuki again.

"I have killed two dragons already, what do you think you're going to do?" She asks and reaches out, catching Kasi by the throat with ease, before lifting her and slamming her against the ground hard enough to bury her in the sand.

"Go!" Doom hears and then Isidora rushes forward, slamming both her greatswords towards Alkadabuki, who blocks with her shield and attempts to stab Isidora, but Isidora leaps back and Alkadabuki is peppered with arrows that dig into her skin as Gitta fires rapid shots at her. They do little more than annoy her and Isidora attacks again. The two alternate between Isidora attacking and Gitta firing to make it difficult for Alkadabuki to counter. It's a good strategy and they get quite a few hits off, if it wasn't for Alkadabuki's insane regeneration healing faster than they were dealing damage it might have worked.

As it was thought it was just a stall and one that didn't last very long. Isidora attacked again and Alkadabuki took the hit this time, easily tanking it and then grabbed Isidora and tossed her at Gitta, knocking both women down and she then turned her attention back to Doom, but this time she was stopped by the arrival of Vox and Belleza, fire engulfed Alkadabuki as Vox worked buffing Belleza's magic as Belleza did her best to burn the Barbarian Queen. Alkadabuki responded by tossing her sword at Belleza.

It flew like a dart and pierced into Belleza's gut, the fire dying instantly as Vox screamed and turned her attention to healing her sister. She yanks the sword out and begins to heal as Alkadabuki approaches and then raises a foot and slams it into the side of Vox's head knocking her out cold. Alkadabuki again turns her attention to Doom, picking up her sword as she approaches him. Behind her the battle is ending and she stops in front of Doom as Doom merely stares back at her. He feels utterly defeated. There's nothing he could possibly do.

"You're the dark's new champion?" Alkadabuki asks and Doom can’t even muster a response..

"Yes! That's him. The Monster!" Elizabeth declares running up beside Alkadabuki. Doom's eyes turn to her with a hateful look. Of course she was responsible for this. He should have killed her when he had the chance. Maybe he still does...

He closes his eyes and then moves, he can't hurt Alkadabuki, but maybe he can at least kill The Regent before he dies. His hand fires out launching a bolt of **** at her and he sees her eyes widen in fear as she screams, but Alkadabuki easily blocks it with her sword and then slashes at Doom. The blade cuts through him with ease and pain lances through his body. He was practically immune to physical damage. Even if she was capable of dealing 100 damage with a single swing he'd only take about ten and yet even with all his resistances that attack had reduced him to almost 1 hp. It was a miracle she hadn't killed him instantly. He collapsed to his knees and realized he was about to die. He couldn't fight and there was no way she'd let him live. His mind played back the words Destiny had spoken.

"If you want to survive this coming trial... You will have to lose everything you have gained. It'll be the only way to come back in the end," she said. His mind raced and then settled, he had gained a new power, one that might be useful. Alkadabuki raised her sword and struck and again her sword passed through Doom's body with ease, but this time. It didn't hurt him. Doom took a deep breath. That had been too close. In his immaterial form he was actually immune to physical damage and it seemed that her sword swing did indeed only inflict physical damage, but there were mages under her control and she could resummon her own spirits.

Doom had ****, but to flee. He ran out towards the desert as Alkadabuki gave chase, but he was capable of moving through objects and she wasn't, he let himself fall, sinking into the sand and traveling under the sand. There was no way she could follow him now. Her scream of rage as he escaped shook the heavens.
