Alien redlight planet

Mackenzie is woken up by a freezing feeling. Then she also felt cold water and finally opened her eyes. A surprised scream escaped her mouth as she jumped up and looked around. She wasn't in her apartment anymore but lay on an old, worn-out couch in a dark alley. "What the ...?" she mumbled, before slightly panicking as she realized that her dress was not much better than rags. "Where I am?" she asked herself, looking up. The buildings were huge, disappearing in orange clouds far above her. Then, with some whooshing sound, a car flew by in the sky. Mackenzie stared at it, as more of them followed. It looked as if she had stumbled into a Sci-Fi movie.

It took a few moments before the young actress managed to move again. She had no idea where she was and where she should go. Slowly she walked down the narrow alley, hoping to find a more busy street. A few meters later she found the exit and stepped out of the alley. The view didn't help with her panic. She had found the exit of the alley, but in front of her, there was only a sidewalk going along the buildings, with a deep chasm in between, so deep she couldn't see the bottom.

A grunting noise made her spin around and she spotted something which looked like a green, slimy blob coming along the sidewalk. She made a scream and ran into the other direction. Soon she saw a door open on the side and without thinking, she rushed into the building, trying to escape from whatever that thing on the sidewalk was.
