Alice doubles down

“No, I’ve never wet my pants!” Alice hissed. “I’ve only wet the bed a couple of nights here and there.”

Margaret raised her eyebrow. She then said. “Alright, I gave you an opportunity to be honest,” she said.

Alice squirmed eyeing Margaret not understanding what Margaret was talking about. That’s when Margaret pulled out something that made Alice’s face go white

“M-margaret…” Alice said.

In her stepmother’s hand was Alice’s diary. Every page filled with all of Alice’s secrets including the most embarrassing ones.
