Alice, in her cocktail dress, stands up and hugs you

You go to kiss her, and she moves her head away, saying "don't, I haven't brushed my teeth yet. I didn't take any overnight stuff."

David, smiling, says, "rookie mistake, it happens to everyone once or twice before they remember. I offered her a new toothbrush, but she wouldn't have it."

Alice smiles and says, "stop, you were already too kind last night". Malia walks over and hugs David, giving him a long kiss. David hands her a cup, already marked "Malia" by the barista. Malia says "thank you honey," and takes the lid off, smelling it deeply.

Alice slides a cup over to you with your name on it. She says, "just the way you like it". You take a sip, and realizing it's still too hot to drink, remove the lid to let it cool. After a few moments of sipping your coffee in peace, Malia speaks.

"So, how was your evening?"

A bit surprised to hear her broach the topic so openly, let alone in a crowded coffee shop, you sit and listen to Alice speak. She eagerly recounts her evening, "I didn't want to go back to your place just yet, so David took me out for some dancing and a couple drinks to loosen me up. Then, we went back to your place, had another drink, got comfortable...and..."

Malia grins widely. She asks, "did you try the whirlpool tub?"

Alice nods, smiling wide. "I wasn't about to let that slide. But that was in between..."

Alice says, "twice. The first time David held off, then we took a break in the tub, then again."

Malia holds David's hand over the table, and gives it a squeeze. She sips her coffee, and says "he does love to do that. It's part of what I love about him. Did you have fun?" she says, with a hint of implication on her voice.

Alice blushes, saying "lots. In the morning again, too. Enough about me, what about you?"

You're a bit embarrassed as Malia describes your evening with her to Alice, in front of you and David. She spares no detail, all the way from getting comfortable, to the movie, to fun during the movie, bed, and Malia blowing you in the morning. Alice squeezes your thigh under the table, beaming at you as she listens.

When she's done, Alice asks her, "so...did you have lots of fun too?"

Malia smiles sideways at Alice, biting her lower lip, letting the suspense hang in the air for a minute, before saying "a lot more than most dates, so yes I did, very much".

Alice smiles at her and leans forward, "enough that maybe we should do this again sometime?"

Malia says, "well, what do you think, David?"

He smiles and says, "absolutely. I had a fantastic time."

Malia says, "I'm definitely willing to spend more time with you and your fiance..."

Malia leans over and whispers to you, "get tested...next time we can go bareback, too".

You whisper back, "{if Liberty=3}consider it done{else}I will{endif}". The four of you finish your coffee, chatting about various light topics. When you're all finished, David stands up from the table, saying "we should get on our way...I still have some work to do over the weekend".

You, Malia, and Alice stand up as well. Alice leans over and gives David a kiss, hugging him tightly. "Thank you for an amazing evening," she says. David responds by whispering something in her ear, to which Alice giggles in reply, smiling and scrunching her face. "I will," she says.

Curious what he whispered to her but not wishing to pry, you forget about it and hug Malia. Malia, not one for subtlety, kisses you on the lips, slipping her tongue in your mouth one last time. You exchange phone numbers with David and Malia, and the four of you leave in your original pairings. Waving to the two of them as they get in David's car, you and Alice get in yours and drive away.

Alice puts her hand on your leg as you drive. She says, "what did you think? Really?"

You say, "I had fun. Malia is really nice, and she was very gracious. Gorgeous, too."

Alice says, "I knew you'd like her. But what did you think of the situation?"

You think for a moment, and reply "I thought it was really hot. And, honestly, the chance to get to know Malia and relax, without the pressure of you or David around, made it a lot more enjoyable. I was worried it would just be awkward sex and an uncomfortable drive back, and it wasn't. I don't mean to say I didn't want you there, but--"

Alice replies, "no, I get it. I felt the same way, actually. I realized last night if you were around, I'd be performing for you and Malia as much as doing it for myself. That might be fun, but it's not something I'd want to do when just getting to know someone. I'm glad we did it this way, really."

You say, "that's good". Alice replies, "yeah", and the drive descends into a bit of awkward silence.

After a couple minutes sitting in traffic, Alice speaks up. She takes a breath, and says "would you be comfortable if I went on a date with Malia, too?"

Surprised at Alice's sudden question, you say "why wouldn't I be? That's pretty hot, actually."

"It...wouldn't be for you. It would be for me. "I'm...okay with that," she says. "No, I'm happy actually," she corrects herself. She looks at you and smiles, genuinely, letting you know she's just not covering her real feelings.

"What about you, was last night more than just sex?"

Alice says without hesitation, "no...David is a really good fuck, but I didn't feel a connection with him. It was fun and I'd do it again...but it was just sex."

You think, saying "huh". Alice says, "what, baby?"

"I thought women were supposed to be the emotional ones, and men just out to get their rocks off".
