Chapter 4 by Mastermind9890 Mastermind9890

What's next?

Alex discovers his powers have consequences

Author's note: Not so much sexy stuff in this chapter or the next one. But after that? It's go-time, baby!

Alex rushed into his messy bedroom, slamming the door behind him. He plopped down in his gaming chair, the worn cushion sagging under his weight, and booted up his computer. His oily fingers drummed impatiently on the desk as he waited for the screen to light up. Finally, the familiar glow of his desktop appeared, and he quickly navigated to Emily Ratajkowski's Wikipedia page.

Staring at the screen blankly, his mouth hung slightly open, his brow furrowed in concentration. He looked almost comical, his eyes glazed over as he contemplated what change to make.

Bigger boobs?

Make her famous for her OnlyFans?

His thoughts raced with the possibilities. As he scanned through her Wikipedia page, his eyes skimming over the text until they landed on a particular section:

  • Ratajkowski is an advocate for women's health issues as a spokesperson for Planned Parenthood. As a self-identified feminist, Ratajkowski has received both support and criticism for her views on sexual expression. Her essay collection, My Body, was published by Metropolitan Books in November 2021 and was on the New York Times Bestseller list.

Alex's lip curled in disdain as he muttered to himself, "Feminism... uppity bitch thinks she's so much better than us. Maybe it's time she learned her place. It’s about time we had someone advocate for us regular men." He sneered, his fingers hovering over his Cheeto-stained keyboard as he formulated his plan.

With a few swift keystrokes, he began to alter the text, his expression a mix of malevolence and psychotic glee. He replaced the original text with his twisted version:

  • Ratajkowski is an outspoken critic of women's health issues and a vocal opponent of Planned Parenthood. As a self-identified anti-feminist, Ratajkowski has received both support and criticism for her views on men's rights. Her essay collection, Men First, was published by Metropolitan Books in November 2021 and was on the New York Times Bestseller list.

He read over his handiwork, a satisfied smirk spreading across his face. "That should do it," he muttered, feeling a rush of power and control. He hit the save button, the new reality setting in as he leaned back in his chair.

Alex stared at the TV, a deep frown etched across his face. He had been watching for over an hour, waiting for Emily to come back on stage. He was dying to find out what her new personality would be like. If he was lucky, she might say something funny and unhinged.

He had been so enraptured by the possibility of seeing Emily make some anti-feminist comments on live TV that he hadn't even stopped to paw at his crotch when Scarlett Johansson came on in a low-cut, tight black dress. His mind was focused on only one thing: Emily was one of the main hosts of the show, so why hadn't she come on again to say more?

Most of the other hosts had presented awards twice by now. Andy Samberg had even gotten to present three times, his goofy antics drawing laughs from the audience. But Emily was missing. Every time the camera panned to the stage, Alex's eyes eagerly scanned for her, only to be disappointed when someone else walked out. He leaned forward in his seat, his fingers gripping the armrests, his heart pounding with a mix of anticipation and frustration.

He couldn't understand it. Why would she only appear once? It didn't make any sense. His mind raced with possibilities, each more implausible than the last. Had she been pulled from the show? Was there some kind of backstage drama? He shook his head, trying to dispel the thoughts. No, it had to be something else. But what?

**** for answers, Alex grabbed his phone and opened Twitter, his fingers flying across the screen as he searched for hashtags related to the award show. But instead of finding tweets about Emily or the show, he was bombarded with posts about something entirely different. The top trending topic was #ScarJoSlip. People were raving about a wardrobe malfunction that had happened earlier in the show. Scarlett Johansson's dress had slipped slightly, revealing one of her big juicy nipples. Videos of the nip slip were everywhere, accompanied by all sorts of comments.

@RedPillRick: "ScarJo's slip just made my year. Who needs a plot when you have that neckline? #ScarJoSlip"

@AlphaAlec: "ScarJo giving us a sneak peek! Wardrobe malfunction? More like wardrobe miracle. #ScarJoSlip #LuckyUs"

@SexCravedSteve: "Her nipples stole the show tonight. Guess she finally figured out how to keep our attention. #ScarJoSlip #FreeTheNip"

@Andrew_Tate_Official: "ScarJo’s dress couldn’t handle those tits. For the homies that missed it, here's the slow-mo replay #ScarJoSlip #WardrobeWin"

@DaringDerek:_ "ScarJo showing off more than just her acting skills tonight. Thanks for the memories! #ScarJoSlip"

Normally, Alex would have been fuming that he missed the nipple slip live. He lived for those moments, relishing in the celebrity humiliation. But for once, Scarlett Johansson's nipples were the last thing on his mind.

His thoughts were consumed with Emily Ratajkowski and the strange turn of events surrounding her. Determined to get some answers, he decided to open up Emily's Twitter to see if she had said anything about the show.

Surprisingly, there was nothing.

No tweets about the event, no pictures from the red carpet, not even a casual mention of the award show. It was as if she hadn't been there at all.

His confusion deepened, but then something else caught his eye—her follower count. There were only 402k followers. A lot, sure, but nowhere near the millions of followers a model of her caliber should have. A sense of unease settled over him as he quickly switched over to Instagram to check her follower count there.

He remembered she had over 25 million followers the last time he checked—a milestone that cemented her status as one of the top influencers and celebrities. But now, her account showed only 924k followers. Alex gulped in shock, his mind racing to make sense of what he was seeing. The numbers didn’t lie. Somehow, he had made Emily’s influence and popularity plummet dramatically.

“Oh shit,” he muttered aloud, the words slipping out before he could stop them. “I guess that had more impact on her career than I thought.”

He stared at the screen, the enormity of his actions hitting him like a wet dildo to the face. He had thought it was just a bit of fun to satisfy his boredom. He had known that he was rewriting history, but this helped him internalize just how his changes could have unintended consequences.

Sure, changing what someone wore during fashion week was one thing. But altering the minds of millions of people on social media was something entirely different.

As he sat there, the possibilities made him dizzy. The power he wielded was intoxicating, and the potential for sexy mischief was endless. But with that power came a realization: he had to be careful. The impact of his changes could ripple out in ways he couldn’t predict. Downgrading the life of one celebrity was easy enough, but what if he inadvertently altered something fundamental? He'd seen enough sci-fi TV to know about the butterfly effect. The idea of erasing himself from existence like Marty McFly flashed through his mind.

Alex couldn’t help but feel a thrill at the thought of what he could do next. But now, he knew he had to be cautious. He had to think things through, plan his moves carefully. The last thing he wanted was to mess things up so badly that it came back to bite him.

With a newfound sense of seriousness, Alex re-entered his room, shutting the door behind him slowly. He was a smart guy. He had built his own computer, after all. And now, more than ever, he had to use that intelligence to navigate this strange new playground that he had entered.

What's next?
