Albert is awoken in the night

Albert's dreams were vague and unsatisfactory and after over half an hour of tossing and turning he decided to hell with it. Sleep wouldn't take him so he decided to sit up and make himself useful by having another look at the radio.

The thing that ultimately struck him on waking up was the silence. Even a night the jungle would be alive with ambient noise, the chirping of bugs, the occasional twitter of restless bats overhead, the rustling of smaller critters off in the shrubs. Yet as he sat up in his makeshift bedding, he could hear none of that. Everything was deathly still and his whole body trembled with concern at how unnatural it was.

Looking around the camp he was met only with confusion. Brucie had evidentially crawled into Max's bedding, pressing himself against the bigger man, while Maria lay abed and to his great surprise she was completely naked, her large maternal breasts and erect dark nipples free in the night air. Despite the flurry of lewd thoughts Albert tore his gaze away and continued to look about. He wasn't quite sure, but in the moonlight it seemed that Sharon had been fondling herself as she fell asleep while one hand resting over her stomach.

Panic caught Albert's heart when he looked for the last member of camp. Lexi's bed was empty, her bedding strewn about haphazardly. A horrible thought struck him. What if Lexi didn't just wander off? Could an animal have taken her while the rest of them slept? At once he was on his feet, trying to navigate in the moonlight as he searched for his companion.

"Lexi?" He whispered, "you there?"

He was met with silence. At first.

Sudden movement in the corner of his eye, the slight rustle of leaves in his ears. For a split second he thought he saw a figure retreat into the forest and without thinking Albert gave chase.

"Hey, Lexi, seriously you can't just run off like that! We need to stay with the group!"

Eventually the jungle gave way to a clearing and Albert had lost sight of the figure he was chasing. He was out of breath, slightly disoriented and very confused as he looked about for his fellow survivor. Where the hell had she gotten to?

His thoughts were cut short as he felt himself suddenly pushed against a tree, the cold sting of steel pressed against his throat. It took a moment for his eyes to adjust and for him to focus on his attacker.

The woman holding him at knifepoint was looked as though she came straight from the old myths of the amazons. She stood a head taller than him and her ebony, muscled, athletic body put his soft pale one to shame. Her breasts, large and heaving, were completely bare and as he followed his gaze down her muscled abdomen and betwixed her shapely hips he was greeted to her shaved and exposed sex, which to his surprised glistened slightly in the moonlight.

"Idiot man!" She hissed, bringing his attention back to her face, with its savaged regality. "Where is it? Where have you hidden it?"

Albert gasped in pain as the blade nicked his throat. "Ahfuck, what? What do you want lady?"

"The cursed object!" She snarled, "the object my people cast into the ocean to be rid of! I know your tribe brought it here!"

He was confused, tired and in pain, but Albert managed to make the hurried connection. "What...you mean that, that fertility idol thing? It's just a trinket. One of the girls had it..."

The woman glared at him for a moment and then released her hold, letting him sag a little against the tree. "Idiot man," she muttered again, "you have no idea what you have brought here. My people had finally found peace!"

Albert rubbed at his throat, wincing as he looked at the blood staining his fingers. "Look lady, I know people out in this part of the world have some weird...beliefs...but we got bigger shit to worry about! My friends and I, we're stranded here, we need to get back to the mainland!"

The woman merely shook her head. "It is too late, the idol has already begun to work its magic. Your friends are going to change, if they haven't already..."
