Alexis tried to refuse. She snarled at the genie as she felt her mouth beginning to move, and then tried to cover it with her hands. But the words came out anyways.

"Of course you can join us! We would be happy to have you as a guest," her unwilling voice spoke.

"Excellent!" The genie yelled, clapping her hands together. "Lead the way!"

Alexis crossed her arms at the genie and didn't move.

"Perhaps you need a little motivation? I could have a lot more fun with you on the way there..." the genie mused aloud.

Alexis grit her teeth for a few moments, then took a tentative step forwards as the beads rubbed against her, teasing her as she moved. A small gasp escaped her before she had even made it out the door of her room.

Al'Rinda floated behind the girl, eyes on her attractive ass, as she walked along the path set out for her by the rope. Al'Rinda wolf whistled as it swayed back and forth, and Alexis could do nothing but blush and moan like a slut as she walked. Madison remained silent a beat, and then spoke.

"Madam Genie, my mother was a kind woman. She told me that one good deed deserves another. And so I have lived here, cleaning up after the Reed's. I have gone above and beyond my duties for them, and Lord Reed and his wife have understood my work and rewarded me for it. But my Lady? She has not given me one good deed. And as I have put up with her, I have understood the other side of the coin. That a bad deed deserves another as well. And I accumulated so, so many bad deeds."

Madison's voice grew spiteful as she carried on, and she grinned over at Alexis as she fumed in her seat.

"You hear that, genie?! She's more of a bitch than I am! Punish her!"

Al'Rinda shook her head.

"You speak like the Fae of old, Madison, servant of house Reed. Has she really been that awful to you?"

Madison composed herself once more and nodded.

"Yes, Madam Genie. It has been hell living here."

"Very well. I can see that you also have been tarnished by the devil sitting in her own cum. What would you like me to do to her as recompense?"

"Devil?! Wait, you can't-"

Madison curtsied towards Al'Rinda once more.

"Your offer is appreciated, Madam Genie, but regarding this matter, it would be preferable to accomplish my desires myself."

The floating girl chuckled as Madison turned her down.

"Yet another mortal who dares not wish! Perhaps this world truly has changed since I last awoke. I respect your wishes, servant of house Reed. But surely you would not say no to greater means to accomplish your desires?"

With that, Al'Rinda pulled a wickedly curved purple dagger inscribed with runes from a hole that opened in her chest. The mortals both shuddered as the room suddenly plunged several degrees. Madison took a step back and held out a hand placatingly.

"A dagger, Madam Genie? I apologize if I was not clear, but I do not seek the blood of-"

Al'Rinda suddenly lunged forwards, flashing through the air. In less than a second, the dagger had pierced Madison's outstretched hand. A purple flash of light enveloped the room as Madison screamed in agony.

"Oh, shit, I forgot to disable the pain rune."

The screaming stopped abruptly. As the purple light faded, Madison stood cradling her hand, shying away from the genie, fear in her eyes.

"Oh, don't be such a baby. It was only a tier 2 rune. Besides, you can feel that it was worth it, right?"

Madison looked down at her hand. A small trickle of liquid dripped down her hand, but she could tell it wasn't blood. It was purple ink. There wasn't a wound either, instead a symbol that Alexis recognized. She had seen it flashing in Al'Rinda's eyes as she cast magic. As Madison raised her head to look at the genie again, fearful of another dagger, Alexis noticed that her previously hazel eyes had turned a deep purple.

"What did you do?" Alexis asked quietly, trying to get out of her chair. Her legs wouldn't let her move.

"I allowed this mortal to borrow a fraction of my power. Oh, you'll be needing these," Al'Rinda said, snapping her fingers. One of the walls of the room was suddenly covered by towers of books, each numbered in purple font. "Genie rules and casting conventions and cantrips and whatnot. The usual for any mortal who wishes for power."

Al'Rinda eyed the wall in front of her. "Maybe just focus on the first 5 for now," she said, as the books rearranged themselves and a small stack of 5 books was seperated. She turned back to the maid, who was staring at her hand again. Madison jolted and looked back at the genie.

"Madison of house Reed, I will be checking in on you. Do not use my powers on the undeserving, and feel free to use them on the deserving. Alexis of house Reed, know that you reaping what you sowed. I will not assist you, or your friends. I am off to ensure that they, too, will get what they deserve."

With that, Al'rinda began to slowly fade. She came back into form for a second, grabbing an oyster from the table.

"I was invited to dinner, so I'm going to have some damn dinner," Al'Rinda's mumbled justification came as she vanished from view entirely. Alexis and Madison stared at spot where Al'Rinda had been for a few moments before looking at each other. After a few tense seconds, Madison curtsied.

"My Lady, I suppose it is time for dinner."
