Akina

You decide maybe you'll visit Akina's room after things settle down and everybody goes to bed. The rest of the night is spent drinking and enjoying the warmth of the tavern. One of your men propositions the barmaid and after awhile they disappear. In fact several of your men have disappeared with various women by the time you see Akina wander upstairs to her room alone.

You spend a few minutes finishing up any idle conversations with your men before heading upstairs. On your way to Akina's room you hear some quiet moans coming from it. Listening in for a moment, you don't hear anybody else in the room and then knock. Akina gasps, "Just a minute"

A few seconds pass before the door cracks open and you spot Akina there. "Oh, Bryce. What do you want?"

The door covers her mostly, but based on her bare arm along, she isn't wearing much in the way of clothes, "Well, I was wondering. We've been on the road for a couple of weeks and maybe you and I could enjoy each others company tonight."

She eyes you carefully, "You're drunk."

Thinking back, you have had a few drinks, but you don't think it's enough to impeded your judgement, "Maybe a little, but I remember you were checking me out in the baths. So clearly you're at least a little interested."

A conflicted expression crosses her face, "Today...Isn't really a good day for me to engaging in those activities. Maybe on our way back."

You give her a confused look, "Why? What's wrong with today?"

She squirms, "Beastfolk are a bit more cognizant than humans on when they're the most...You know. Fertile. It comes from our beast blood. You know dogs and cats go into heat and go looking for a mate. It's a bit like that."

"Well, I'll just...pull out then." you retort.

Sighing, she gives you a critical look, "Look, I know you've been sleeping with Victoria. Based on how much you've been fucking her, she's probably going to get pregnant sooner or later. I talked with her, she's nice and I don't want to cause problems because you couldn't keep it in your pants for a few weeks. Especially if you don't manage to pull out in time. Accidents happen and I don't really want to be carrying one of your little bastards."

You think about what she said. She makes a fair point, but you are the king. If you press her, she may fold and let you fuck her. Or you could just go to bed and continue on to Phebis.
