Akane's Date (Part One)

Candy stewed in silence as she and Gwen slid down the longest slide yet. What happened to Akane she worried. Did Sally do something to her? Bitch isn't nice enough to have sent her to her date if it's time so maybe she's being punished for being late? Oh I hope not. Not when we were so close to getting out of this maze. Her thoughts were interrupted as she saw the light that signified the end of the fall. She felt Gwen tense up next to her readying herself for the stimulation the impact would bring. As they crashed once more into the sea of balls Candy ignored the moan from the girl next to her and focused on helping her to stand. She was quickly distracted however by the sound of a laugh that had come to haunt her recent nightmares.

“What do you want?” Candy growled turning to see Sally floating on the sea of balls near the entrance. “And what have you done with Akane?”

As Sally's laughter calmed down she looked over at the tall angry blonde. “I haven't done anything with the poor girl aside from save her from your incompetence” Sally said with an infuriatingly smug look on her face.

“And what is that supposed to mean?” Candy asked with a scowl.

“Sorry, I guess I should have used smaller words so you would understand” Sally taunted. “What I meant is that I helped Akane to leave so she could make her date instead of continuing to get dragged down by your low brain power.”

“Low brain power” Candy sputtered indignantly. “If Akane got out from our last go through the maze then that means I solved your stupidly unfair maze. What do you have to say to that?” Candy exclaimed looking quite pleased with herself. Her pride faltered however when Sally reacted by just looking at her with an expression that just screamed pity. “What's that face for? I beat your stupid maze didn't I?”

“I guess technically you figured out how to make it through the maze but I wouldn't really be proud of your time if I were you” Sally responded still looking at her like she was some creature to be pitied. “This ball pit is part of a real life Sim theme park I made when I was younger and this was meant to be one of the places where people can leave their kids while they ride the more...let's say mature rides. When I was testing the place my niece solved this maze in about an hour. So be proud if you want but a small child fractioned your time.” Candy blushed and opened her mouth to respond but Sally held up her hand to cut her off. “Whatever feeble excuse your about to say I don't care. What I do care about is that you two and Akane have been in here way longer than I thought you would and are the only ones who haven't eaten yet. Akane will get food on her date but I'm not about to get accused of abusing my contestants just because you two can't find your way out of a child's maze. So I'm sending you to the hotel dining room where you will eat something before it starts to effect your weak human constitution or something.” And with a snap of her fingers both women were gone.

“I keep telling you I didn't enjoy that insane roller coaster” Lydia once more insisted. Next to her Nikki rolled her eyes as she tried to line up her putt.

“Me thinks the lady doth protest too much” was Nikki's response. Chuckling to herself as Lydia finally gave up on trying to defend her honor Nikki took her shot. Thankfully the ball managed to find it's mark as it passed through the hole at the base of the door which proceeded to swing open.

“Finally” Lydia griped as she started moving towards the room tugging Nikki along with her. Both women took a look around as they entered. “Well, I would have been perfectly happy going the rest of my life without seeing Princess Peach mud wrestling in a bikini but whatever. Still a major step up from my room.”

“What about the other one. Seeing Peach bothers you but Risky doesn't?” questioned Nikki.

“Eh, I'm not exactly caught up on the Shantae series since I've given up childish things like video games but from what I remember Risky more easily lends herself to the image. Peach is kind of like the ultimate picture of innocence in video games.” Turning to the part of the room that really caught her interest Lydia groaned. “Really, a race car bed? What are we, five?” Although I guess given what this entire place is themed around Sally certainly has the mental maturity of a five year old. Lydia turned her head to face Nikki. “Is there anything you need to do right now? Because I am exhausted and just want to fall asleep after today.”

Caught off guard by the suggestion Nikki took a moment to respond. “Um, I guess not. I'm pretty worn out from that **** machine as well so I could hit the sack.” As soon as the sentence was done Nikki found herself being dragged towards the bed and pulled down onto it. As soon as she settled after the rough landing she raised her head to complain but Lydia was already asleep. Sighing Nikki began to settle in and attempted to join her buddy in slumberland.

While Sylvia continued to giggle to herself on the floor Daisy managed to raise herself up enough to get her head above the counter. “Barkeep!” she exclaimed **** for answers. As the moogle floated over she began to question him. “How is she still drunk? I thought when people passed out drunk they slept it off and then wake up in immense pain?”

“Oh no, kupo. Your friend made her desires very clear. She asked for the strongest drink we have, kupo. So I brought her one of our special blends, The Cosmo Canyon. Guaranteed to have you drunk for the next 24 hours but with no nasty side effects like a hangover. We're very proud of it, kupo.”

Daisy felt the world crashing to a stop as she stared at the moogle with wide eyes. “24 hours? 24 HOURS?” the poor princess repeated as her situation began to sink in. Daisy was suddenly broken out of her thoughts as she felt herself being lifted into the air. “Wha- Sylvia!” Daisy's fear grew worse as she suddenly found herself being held by Sylvia in a princess carry. Looking up she saw Sylvia staring at her with a large grin on her face.

“Milady” Sylvia said as she broke into a clumsy curtsy that almost had Daisy's head hitting the floor. Managing to get back upright Sylvia began to stumble her way out of the bar with Daisy having locked up in her arms almost too scared to even move.

Bruce was waiting inside his room by the door occasionally looking at the clock. It's almost 6 and Akane isn't here yet. Is she going to be late like Jenny was? Weird that my subconscious would want to punish Akane of all people but this has already been the weirdest dream of my life so far. Bruce was broken out of his thoughts by a rapid knock on his door. Hmm, just barely made it. Guess that fits my image of Akane. Opening the door he was greeted by an unexpected but pleasant sight of the Asian woman.

She was breathing heavily and it was obvious she had run here with how drenched in sweat she was. Her shirt had turned see-through giving him quite the nice view.

“Di-did I make it” she panted out as she rested her hands on her knees.

“Just barely” Bruce said with a smile. “Unless I were to close this door for a few minutes” he teased. Akane's eyes bugged out and she practically threw herself by him into the room. “Eager are we” Bruce continued to tease as he closed the door behind her.

As Akane managed to catch her breath she turned to face him trying to work up the nerve to say something. After a few awkward moments passed her stomach seemingly decided that her mouth was taking to long and decided to speak up instead. Akane blushed deeply as her stomach growled very noticeably. Her face turned further crimson as Bruce chuckled at the sound.

“How about we get something to eat then I show you to a room that I think you will enjoy?” Bruce asked as he began to move towards the dining table. Not able to work up a verbal response Akane just shuffled after him.
