Ahsoka's last mission

Ahsoka Tano sits at the cockpit of the “Twilight” and reflects on how she got into her current situation.

After leaving Jedi Earth, she had to struggle for a few weeks in the lower levels of Coruscant. There she met a new friend and together with her sister took a shipment of Spice to the Pykes.

However, the shipment was destroyed and only by luck did she make it back to Coruscant. There she was approached by a droid and taken to the Jedi Temple.

The Jedi asked her if she could do one last task for the Order. They desperately needed a Togruta, and since Shaak Ti was busy training the clones on Kamino, they could only ask her.

After a brief discussion with her former master, Ahsoka accepted the mission. Anakin left the Twilight with her and she had to make her way to the Togrutas' home planet of Shili.

An alarm sounds and Ahsoka looks up. She grabs the hyperspace lever and pulls it down. The Twilight jumps out of hyperspace.

Outside the viewport is the green landscape of the planet Shili. "Home," Ahsoka whispers softly, looking at the green expanses of the planet, which are only interrupted by blue water.

"This is Corvala flight security to incoming G9 rigger-class freighter. Please identify yourself," a voice sounds from the com. Ahsoka replies, "This is freighter Twilight to Flight Security. I am here on behalf of the Jedi Order. I am here to investigate the problems with the clans."

After a few seconds, the reply comes. "Twilight, you are cleared to land in bay 4 seat D. You are expected."

"Thank you," Ahsoka replies and steers the freighter to the coordinates given.

She lands it as she has done so many times before and steps out of the cargo hatch. A few metres from the hatch stand two Togruta who smile at her.

"Ah you must be the help we were promised by the Jedi Order. My name is Zuzin Saam and I am Chief Security Officer for the region around Corvala" says the older of the two in a stern tone.

"My name is Akansas Nile and I am a historian and behavioural scientist of the primitive tribes" says the other in a softer voice.

"I am Ahsoka Tano and I was sent by the Jedi Order to help you. Unfortunately, I was not told what the mission was about. Could you explain it to me?"

"I'd be happy to," Akansas says quickly, before Zuzin can say anything. "But we shouldn't discuss that here. Let's go to a briefing room."

Akansas goes ahead with Zuzin and Ahsoka follows them. After a few minutes, the three arrive in a small meeting room. After they are seated, Zuzin comes to speak.
