Agreed to hangout

Jake stared at his phone reading Britney’s text message to himself. This was all happening too fast for him, as his situation grew more complicated. His legs felt like jello stumbling backwards he bumped against the wall. Jake leaned against the wall bracing himself. He took several deep breaths trying to calm down and think this through. If he ignores her text she might think he isn’t interested in her. It could of been fate that they met, what if they were meant to be together? On the other hand Alex might consider undoing these changes if he is just patient.

How long would it take though, plus there is no guarantee she would. Alex might see it as him being a coward and decide to keep him this way. Jake’s phone beeped again snapping him out of his thoughts momentarily. His phone was reminding him he had gotten a text from Britney. Jake reread her text once more sighing too himself. It’s highly unlikely she would be interested in doing anything sexual this early right? It’s not like he has to tell her about his situation right away, he could build up the courage to tell her and maybe she wouldn’t care?

But if things do speed up, what is he going to do if she does care? He doubted Alex would take him back, even if she did Alex probably make him do whatever she wanted and constantly remind him of his mistake. “Screw it.” Jake said to himself, he was tired of all this worrying. He wanted to relax he would cross that bridge when it came atleast he would know he did what he thought was right. Jake texted her back ‘Sure, what you have in mind?’ A minute went by before he heard back from her. ‘Come over have dinner, maybe watch some movies?’

He smiled reading her message he quickly began typing away. ‘That sounds nice right about now, sure I’ll see you tonight.’ He slipped his phone in his pocket and walked out of the bathroom.
