Of course, based on how she just easily murdered your bodyguards, you wonder if you ever had a chance of defeating her to begin with. She steps up to the count, still dancing like a babbling fool and you see a knife coalesce in her hand before plunging it into his chest where he collapses. Then she walks back up to you. "I'll possess Countess Marissa's body for the time being and dispose of it later, but don't worry. I'll be in my natural body by the time out wedding night comes."

The story that was told about your victory over Castle Luxem was a simple one. A terrible demon was possessing Countess Marissa and you defeated it and rescued her, at the cost of her husband and your bodyguards. With your "heroic" rescue, the countess has fallen deeply in love with you and preparations began for a wedding ceremony.
