"Very well," Isabella replied, her voice shaking. "General, you have my permission. Comb through the jungle, every single inch. Mobilize the reserves if necessary. I want every uniform in the field until my father's killers are brought to justice."
Serrano nodded. "Yes, Presidente," he said, his eyes gleaming.
Isabella wondered if she had made a mistake. But what choice did she have? Her father had taught her that weakness was ****, and that the only way to survive was to strike back, harder and faster. If she didn't act, her enemies would tear her apart.
