The hours go by
After work
Harper wasted no time in clocking out once her shift was done. In addition to hating that place, she had an early start in highschool tomorrow and needed to get back to her apartment nice and early. Throwing her coat on and preparing to brave the rain outside, she departed the shitty burger joint.

With her hood hung low over her face, Harper darted through the rain down the side alley of the burger place where her bicyle was locked, unaware that she was being observed from above by a winged beast. The sheer weight of the creature loosened a brick from the roof and sent it crashing down to the ground behind her. Something she did notice with a jolt of surprise. Swinging her body around, she looked around, but found nothing. Not even atop the roof.
Be it a cat or a rat, she deduced, she wasnt going to linger around in the rain to find out, and quickly turned around to get to her bike, keys in hand. Thats when she bumped into 'it'.
