After The Meeting

The meeting was boring, as usual.

Toby spent most of the meeting looking at Jade. He was captivated by how graceful and delicate she was. Every small movement she made somehow seemed to be perfectly executed. Even her clothes seemed to be extremely soft and delicate.

At the end of every meeting, some students and professors would go to the campus pub for a drink. Some people only came to these meetings for the casual hang-out later on. Some liked to get drunk around their professors, it gave them a sense of freedom. Others pestered their professors and asked them questions while the professors sipped on a cider.

"You want to come to the pub" said Toby.

"What's that?" said Jade.

"The pub, we go after every meeting. You don't have to if you don't want to. Some people don't. Might be worth coming since it's your first time, see if you like it" said Toby.

"Oh right, I didn't know." said Jade "yeah, I suppose I could. Sure, why not?"

Her tone didn't sound too decisive. Toby couldn't tell if she genuinely wanted to go or if she'd accepted just out of politeness. In either case, Toby was pleased he'd be able to talk to her in a more relaxed atmosphere. And if they both got some **** in themselves, who knew what could happen. Maybe he would even get her number.

As they walked to the bar, Spencer and a couple of other students joined them. They exchnged polite questions about what everyone wasstudying, what halls of residence they were in, etc.
