Adam, a geeky College Student

I sighed as I stared out the window. The rain wasn't letting up at all. What a day to forget my jacket. The morning had been so nice.

I'd been writing a book on my laptop (I.E. surfing reddit) when I lost track of time entirely.

I guess I should be thankful that I didn't have any other classes today.

My laptop, now dead, was packed away into my shoulder bag. I stood up, wincing once more at the rain as I looked down at my clothes. I was wearing jeans, and a tie-dye T-shirt. I had always been thin, which didn't help when dealing with the cold. My slightky too-long black hair was curling from the weather, giving it an unmanageable look. At this point I just put a comb through it and hoped for the best.

The idea of going out in that torrent made me shiver. I had another option, of course.

A girl had walked in just before the rain hit, just less than an hour ago. I don't know why, but I kept glancing at her.
