Active Quests - Day 16
A Pact of Pleasure (updated)
Cornered in a chamber of silk, you reveal the name of your Patron: Graz'zt, Prince of Pleasure, the true source of every change worked through your hands. Told plainly that their pleasure feeds your growing power, Lae'zel, Shadowheart, Karlach, and Kagha all choose to stay, the quiet part is finally spoken out loud.
Find a Cure
A shared vision hit the whole party at once, stopped only by Shadowheart's mysterious relic—three figures loomed in the psychic storm, names only you recognized. Ketheric Thorm. Gortash. Orin. Whatever's coming, it's bigger than goblins.
The Githyanki Warrior (updated)
Told plainly what fuels your power, she calls it perverse and follows anyway, declaring a demon's ambitions no different from her own hunger for strength. She claims a trophy only to ask permission to wear it, then arrives at your bed at dawn only to drown in pleasure forgetting why she came in the first place.
Daughter of Darkness (updated)
A few drops of blood on a cursed altar earns the reward: Phalar Aluve, a singing blade that turns nearby strikes into shared pain, pulled free in blasphemy to her beloved Shar. Told at last that Graz'zt sits behind everything, she stays anyway, admitting only that you might have told her sooner. Whatever she and Kagha shared in the night together, it is theirs to keep, for now..
The Unwritten
Withers notes another divine humiliation added to the growing roster—Sylvanus now numbered among the affronted. Fate's threads unravel and the rules of the world weaken; others are learning to rewrite them as well. The bill always arrives, though not tonight.
Our Fiery Friend (updated)
Black infernal metal, carried from a Zhentarim vault and forged at the ancient Grymforge, lets you hold her without burning for the first time in years. The relief is short-lived: Dammon warns the engine still needs Avernus's heat to survive long-term, and you answer by swearing she'll never go back, cost be damned. She flaunts her new changes and thanks you for the act, the shape of her settling into something new under your hands.
Get Help from Auntie Ethel
The mark is lifted and the hag remains of her own will—resident, guardian, and future mother to a hagspawn. The Sanctum's scrolls and the masked holdouts are hers; the children are beyond her reach, yet the dwarf and a final accounting still linger.
Kindred Schemer (updated)
A screaming blade and acidic ring settle into her growing arsenal, each earned through quiet, efficient violence showing her true nature. She was the first to know about Graz'zt, long before the others, and she spreads his corruption in your ranks by proxy of you. Curiously, whatever she and Shadowheart shared last night, she isn't telling just yet.
The Blasphemous Rite
The broken cycle has borne fruit: the Idol pulses violet, the druids are remade, and the land itself feeds the Prince's hunger. The seed's work continues to ripple outward through every living thing that remains.
The Blade Declined
Wyll bears new horns for his defiance, and a seeing stone where an eye once was. The nightly rites have ended for him—for now. The Blade of Frontiers remains, quieter, marked, and still bound.
Unlocking the Black Art
The Necromancy of Thay rests in the pack, its whispers patient and persistent. What secrets does the screaming skull hold, and what price will reading it demand?
The Drow
Sensitive skin slides off her like water; Forbidden Release takes root instead. Stripped, gagged, and bound beside the Idol, she is forced to watch the Grove's endless revel while aphrodisiac soak into every meal. The Absolute's chosen now sits as living ornament and open question.
Devil's Advocate
A deliberate word is spoken within Wyll's hearing—an idea of escape from Zariel, timed for the right moment. The cambion's eye turns; the plan is baited and the Hells are listening.
A Meddling Devil
Raphael appears on the road and carries the party to his table in Avernus. Permanent freedom from the tadpoles is offered; every voice declines. The refusal unsettles him—what power does he sense that makes a devil sweat?
The True Archdruid
Halsin returns to a Grove he no longer recognizes. He takes the uncorrupted tieflings and children as penance and vanishes down the wild roads, vowing that this will not be the last meeting. Nature itself has begun to keep score.
The Infernal Smith (updated)
Another piece of infernal metal reaches his hands, and Dammon forges Karlach a new chance at life in the heart of the ancient Grymforge. Rather than return to Baldur's Gate, he asks to stay behind at the forge for good, trading company and deviancy for hard work and solitude.
The Sensitive Matriarch (updated)
The Curse of Sensitive Skin finally ends: touched at the mark, the Matriarch splits open and rises as Eliette, a drider queen with a high elf's face, Graz'zt's violet sheen in her eyes, and a colony of thousands who now call you master. She rules the Grymforge's silk-draped ruins, offers her throne and devotion freely, the only question remaining is “how will she take rejection?”
Friends in Low Places (new)
A returned chest, a well-placed charm, and a moment alone in a back room bought black infernal metal off Zarys and something more lasting: a standing invitation to Baldur's Gate, whenever you need a favor only the Zhentarim can provide.
Cleanse the Rot (new)
The Sovereign of the myconid colony showed you their slaughtered young through a memory that wasn't yours, then demanded the duergar responsible be destroyed. The outpost you found waiting for that vengeance was already empty, someone else's hunger having gotten there first.
