Instead of grabbing a pokeball, you glanced to Ace on your shoulder. "You up for this?"

Ace nodded, then leapt from your shoulder to the ground in front of the seedot. The two circled each other, then at your command, Ace lashed out to Pound the seedot with his tail. The seedot started to glow an angry orange with the impact.

You swore. That was Bide. Seedot was a defensive pokemon, so if you got close to defeating it but didn't manage to before it released the power, Ace would be in trouble.
