Chapter 11

What does Cindy witness?

Accident on the road

The absolute last thing that Cindy expected to walk onto in the back of the RV was a now (once again) naked Carol with an equally naked Rachel tying their clothes together into a makeshift rope. From the looks of it, all of Rachel's other clothes were tied up the same way.

With the exception of one outfit in the closet.

"What the hell are you doing?!" Cindy demanded in a hushed voice, glaring at Carol.

"Cindy? What's going on in - Oh Dear Lord!" Karen barked as she saw the sight in front of her. Glaring at Carol, she hissed, "Can't you keep your freaking clothes on for five seconds?!"

"Guys, relax." Carol said with a chuckle, "I know what I'm doing."

"The last time you said that, we got banned from an airport because you kicked the security guard in the groin." Karen hissed as she closed the curtain.

"Cool." Rachel commented, impressed.

"But this time I know I have things under control." Carol replied as she tied one end of the clothes rope to a skateboard. Then to the shock and horror of Karen and Cindy, Carol opened the back window and tossed the board out the window.

"Are you crazy?!" Karen demanded as the clothes rope rapidly shot out the window, "I mean, I know you are crazy, but I didn't think you were this freaking insane!"

"Relax." Carol said nonchalantly, waving the two women off. "This is something Sophie and I would do on trips all the time. One half of the makeshift rope keeps the skateboard in place. Although, we stopped using skateboards in 2200, when -"

"Don't tell me." Karen said flatly, "Skateboards got replaced by hoverboards, right?"

"'Hoverboards'? Ha! What an imagination!" Carol snorted. "Skateboards were replaced by anti-gravity roller skates."

"You asked..." Cindy muttered as Karen groaned in annoyance.

"Anyway," Carol continued as she picked up a barbell, "the other end of the clothes rope is tied to this weight, allowing the skateboard to trail along behind."

"Uh, quick question." Rachel said, "Weren't you supposed to tie that to the other end?"

"Well I -" Carol began, only to go wide eyed in shock. She looked down at the weight in her hand before looking up just as the other end of the clothes rope shot right out the window, losing all of Rachel's clothes, and Carol's pants and thong, to the open road. "Oops."

"MY CLOTHES!" Rachel shrieked slapping an arm over her breasts and and wedging a hand between her legs. "What did you do to my clothes?!"

"What is going on back - GOOD LORD!" Rachel's mother shouted as she came into the back. Looking around at the sight in front of her, she glared at her three guests and snarled. "What the devil did you do?!"

"The crazy one threw my clothes out the window, Mom! And my skateboard!"

"It was an accident, I swear!" Carol defended.

"You didn't throw her clothes out on accident, you lunatic!"

"Not helping our cause, Karen!" Cindy shouted.

"You three!" Rachel's mother snapped, "We were kind enough to give you a lift to Vegas after you ran out of gas, and after we reach the one mile mark, this is how you repay us?! By throwing away all my daughter's clothing?!"

"Hold on! We had nothing to do with her stupidity!" Karen snapped back, Carol doing her best to hold her girlfriend back.

"Well, she didn't throw all my clothes away, Mom." Rachel admitted, "I still have one outfit left, but I packed a weeks worth of clothes for this trip. Now, six outfits are on the road!"

"We'll buy you an entire new wardrobe when we get to Vegas!" Cindy bargained, "I have the cash for it!"

Rachel glared at the three.

"You seem more like a credit card user." Karen chuckled nervously. "Pick your poison. Visa? American Express? MasterCard?"

Rachel still glared.

"I don't suppose you know what a 'Monetary Crystal' is, do you?" Carol asked as she pulled said 'future currency' out from where she had pulled out her ID and phone earlier.

"You! Shut up!" Cindy hissed at Carol.

"Do I want to know where she was keeping that?" Karen muttered.

Rachel's glare only grew.

"Look, whatever you want, you got it!" Karen exclaimed, practically begging.

Rachel's glare softened as she looked over Cindy and Karen, a wicked grin coming to her face. "Nice outfits..."

The RV's engine roared as it sped past a sign that read "Las Vegas: 1 Mile", speeding off in the opposite direction to grab Rachel's clothes and skateboard while leaving a naked Carol standing in front of the sign... As well as an equally naked Cindy and Karen, the two holding their wallets and Cindy's phone in their hands.

With her face red in a mixture of rage and humiliation, Karen turned to the two other women with a snarl. "You and I will have a very, very, very long talk about this later, Cynthia." She growled, "And as for you, Carol? I. Freaking. Hate. You."

How does the one mile walk to Vegas go for our heroines?
