Accepting a new life

"Boats have not been seen either for two whole weeks, we've taken several shifts to attest to that." Emma listed off and thus she looked to Tom. "We have to face facts." Emma said and thus the words struck Tom.

Emma then wrapped her arms around Tom as she saw the defeated look in his eyes. "Don't worry luv we have each other from now on." Emma said looking deeply into the survivors eyes. "So let's survive together." Emma said as she then kissed Tom passionately.

"On this island in our own personal Edan free from the struggles of our old lives. Let us become the new Adam and Eve here." Emma said using a bit of her actress persona in those words.

"And if the world forces us to return?" Tom asked as he began to accept his new lease on life here.

"Then we go together, as one happy island family." Emma said meaning that she was bringing Tom with her. They had been interlocked eternally by this struggle and thus they would survive to the bitter end.
