"You are most persistent, and I can respect that," Beatrice says taking the Ring you have brought and placing it on her left ring finger, "I accept your offer of engagement and will await the time when we may talk of further things with great expectations." She says with a smile.
You can barely control your joy, but master your emotions and merely place a little kiss across her knuckles on her left hand. "I too await that day with great anticipation," you declare, and resume your seat.
As a gambit for further conversation, you ask after her needs for starting school. "And it please you, tell me what you require for gear and such to join the Academy?" You ask, projecting an air of confidence.
"I have gathered most of the things that they requested, wand blanks, parchment for scrolls, a cauldron and vials for potions, as well as the yellow robes of an apprentice, but I still need to find an animal to be my familiar..." Miss Beatrice says, clearly anticipating where this is going.
"Then my dear, shall we choose a chaperone and go in search of such a beast?" You ask.
"Most gladly." Beatrice says and placing her arm in yours you head out to speak with her parents about having one of her siblings go with you...
