Spencer used the brief time he had to walk to the couch thinking of what to say to his daughter. When he sat next to her, he finally spoke. "Well, I have something to tell you."

"What's going on?"

"Me and Miss Wolfe have been seeing each other."

"Oh...okay."

"It's not all that serious right now."

Amy nodded halfheartedly, before saying "Did you go out to just see her?"

"Yeah. If I was honest I was hoping to maybe talk about this later."

"So you lied to me?"

"Well, yes, but I know you two were having issues. I just wanted to wait a bit until things had cooled down, and maybe when things were a bit more serious."

"So how long has it been going on?"

"Since to weekend." Spencer put his hand on his daughter's shoulder. "I'm not trying to replace your mom."

"I know Dad. I think I might just go to bed."

"Okay sweetie. I love you."

"Love you too Dad."

Amy went off to the bedroom, leaving Spencer to wonder about his new relationship. Part of him hated the fact that he referred to things as not being serious, but part of him also believed it. Jessica did excite him, but so far their relationship had only really built on sex.

Deciding he needed another drink, Spencer headed to the fridge before pulling out his phone.

'Hey Jesss just wanted u to know Amy knows about us'

Spencer's phone then rang.

"Hello?"

"You okay Spence?" Jessica asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine."

"How did she take it?"

"Not well."

"Alright, well, it'll work out Spence. See you soon."

"Ah, right, see you."

After he finished his beer, Spencer went to bed, where he wrestled around with his thoughts.
