Abduction for class project

Ka-Larr stared at the lifeforms contained in the glass cells in front of her. Both of them were young adults, aged about eighteen Earth years, and had been found just outside of their local town. According to her book, they were called "humans."

The man seemed meek and confused by his surroundings. He was dressed in blue jeans, small shoes, and a t-shirt displaying a superhero that featured in Earth media. He sat on his rear and stared at the alien ship around him, occasionally wiping his glasses. Ka-Larr noticed he kept staring up at her before turning red and looking away. She wondered if this was how humans showed embarrassment.

She toyed with a small device before attempting to speak to the man in his language. To her relief, the translator worked perfectly. "Don't be afraid. My name is Ka-Larr. I'm just here to make a small report for my science class."

The man slowly looked up and turned red again, but he didn't look away. Ka-Larr smiled at him. "It's okay. You may look. I don't know why your species wear so many clothes. They seem...unnecessary."

A loud bang came from the other glass cell. Ka-Larr turned to look at the short blonde woman in a red sweater and black jean shorts. "Hey! Don't you touch him, you hear me?!"

Ka-Larr was confused. When she had seen the two in the field, the blonde woman was pushing him around and calling him several names that appeared to be insults. "Why do you care about that?" Ka-Larr asked. "Were you not tormenting him before I beamed you onto my ship?"

The woman slammed her fist into the glass. "When I get out of here, I'm going to kill you, space slut!"

Ka-Larr wasn't familiar with that name. She decided to ignore the female and return to her studies. Opening a notebook, she began to set up her lab for her experiment.
