How does Abby respond?
Abby gets the Yeti to take her to town
"Mate," Abby signed in the Yeti's manner. "You no love me. You keep me prisoner. You no let me see humans."
"Yeti love Abby," the Yeti signed frantically. "Abby mate."
"Yeti love mate," Abby agreed. "Yeti take mate Abby to town."
It took more persuading, but the Yeti reluctantly put his mate Abby on his shoulders and carried her into the small town. The doors slammed shut on the houses they passed, until at last they were between a car mechanic, a diner, a grocery store, and truck stop.
Abby's eyes brightened when she saw the trucks. She could hitch a ride somewhere far away from her prison and from the sweet Yeti. She approached them, with the Yeti close behind.
"Not one step further," someone called out.
Who is it? Trucker? Sheriff? Someone else? Can Abby hitch a ride?
