Aaralon Defeated.

Tar'mora howled at the pack and they fell back out of the door way. Screaming, they all began to throw things at Aaralon. Others he dodged with ease, while some managed to hit him square in the face. Vials of unknown potions shattered everywhere and Aaralon felt a tingling sensation in his left foot; he had stepped in an orange mixture and the viscous mess glued him down. Aaralon thrashed in pain as another vial shattered in his eye.

A patroller had heard the screams and shot into the room. He took in the sight for a moment then ripped out his spell book. He landed on the page he needed and casted a spell.

"Begone foul demon! By fire be purged!" the man yelled.

A holy fire consumed Tar'mora. At first it had no effect and the best cried and attempted to free his leg from the glue, but then the flames began to sear and charr his flesh. The officer continued to channel the flame and intensified it, Aaralon let out a furious bellow and collapsed. The officer stopped channeling and the fire vanished without even the smallest ash in its wake.

One of the girls hugged the officer and wouldn't let go, holding on fiercely and planting kisses on his cheek. The teacher approached the beast and poked it with her yardstick. Aaralon was dead.

While no one knew the identity of the beast, it didn't seem to concern them for the officer too was still pale with fright. Relieved, the girls then immediately remembered Jessica.

Jessica's dearest friend, Emily, let out a wail and sober cry as she charged to her friend. With the help of the others they dragged her assaulted corpse into the light, where they inspected it.

She had a pulse, and dipped in and out of consciousness, but what concerned them the most was the black sludge that settled on her body. The officer looked at her closely, still panting from the spell he had cast just a few minutes ago.

The robed official said, "This doesn't look good,"

"What's wrong with her? What is that stuff!?"

"The demon... had its way with her... she is covered in a powerful demonic essence. The muck has seeped into her and is attempting to corrupt her,"

"Is there any hope to save her?!" Emily cried.

"There are no doctors within a ready distance and the sludge will either fail or achieve victory within minutes. I am too weak to purge the corruption. It's entirely based on her will to resist the madness," the officer looked at her naked body solemnly.

"What will happen if... if.. she fails?" Emily was now unable to speak and her voice became almost inaudible from her tears.

"She will turn on us and attack with as much ruthlessness as the beast over there; and I will not be able to defend us,"

One of the more apathetic girls, Ali, drew a knife from her pocket.

"I made this the other day... it's dipped in a weak poison..." she handed it to the guard.

"We need to make a choice, we can kill her now, or hope she can fight the corruption," he looked into the eyes of Emily and it almost brought him to tears.
