I’m sprawled on the couch, half-dead inside, doom-scrolling the same three apps on loop. Twitter is a glorious warzone today: people screaming at each other, some e-girl I hate-follow begging for tips in a maid outfit, and a fresh wave of ratio replies under my burner alt’s latest bait post. Perfect.

Suddenly, I heard an email notification popped up on the top of my screen. It's from my old account I created years ago. Haven't logged into that account for ages. It says it's from Wikipedia. WTF?? I thought I was banned for life from that site. The memories.

As a young adult, I used to do edits all the time on the site. Helpful information, updated and cited with accurate sources so that anyone that needed the info can actually cite some sources other than Wikipedia. Alongside this, I would make slight edits to words so that the meaning is not lost but it reads specific "naughty" words when viewed in different devices. By the time they've found out, I've done 1000+ edits. Sure it's a crime, but not one worth banning someone for life.

Looking at the mail, it read "Admin privileges activated. Login to start editing". This fucker thinks I'll click a link on his phishing email.

As I proceed to "Mark this as spam", a thought passed my mind. What if it's true? I logged into my old account and voila, it's back. And I could see an additional option there. "Edit as admin". It's true.
