Chapter 34 by Ggnt Ggnt

What does Annie pick?

A whistle

Annie tossed a small whistle to Leanne, "Here. Blow on this." Leanne shrugged and put it to her mouth. Pete could see her blowing, but he couldn't hear any noise.

"Ok, so what did that do?" Annie asked, "I mean sure it was loud but so what?"

"Wait, you heard it?" Annie nodded, "I didn't hear anything." Pete told them.

"I couldn't hear it either." Leanne admitted, "I don't think it did anything."

Pete held out his hand, "Pass it to me," He took it from Leanne and blew on it himself. Again he heard nothing, but this time it was obvious that both women heard something. "Oh so it's like a dog whistle..."

Annie figured it out, "A bitch whistle...only women can hear it. But so what? Why would you want to annoy women, it's gotta do something else."

"Well a dog whistle has to be paired with commands and training...." Pete said raising the whistle to his lips.

Annie held out a finger, "Oh no, don't you dare train us!"

Too late, Pete blew the whistle, "Sit!" He ordered immediately after blowing. To his surprise both of them sat down immediately. "Whoa."

Annie gave him the finger and slowly stood up, "Stop that. Don't you dare do it again." She took a step towards him.

Will grinned and blew the whistle, "Stay." Annie stopped in her tracks. Does it work on any command, or just dog related ones? He blew it again, "Strip!" This time she just flipped him off.

"Ok, my turn. We can practice on Leanne, I don't need to be part of this. Isn't that why you agree to let her stay?" Annie said, holding her hand out.

"Okay fine. Here." Pete passed it to her.

They spent the next few hours experimenting on Leanne, much to Leanne's chagrin. They found the whistle only worked on a few commands. Sit. Stay. Down. Come. Speak. Quiet. When they told Leanne to resist, she was able to ignore thee command after a few seconds. But they found the more the practiced, or trained, her, the time before she could break away for longer and longer. By the end of the afternoon the sit command would render Leanne unable to get up for two minutes even if she was trying to resist. They also found that the range of the whistle far exceeded vocal range. They still had to verbalize a command, but Leanne would obey even if she couldn't hear the command.

Finally they were all back in the living room. "Ok, what's next?" Annie said looking at the pile.

"Please, can't I take a break?" Leanne asked.

Annie blew the whistle, "Quiet!" Then she laughed, "Oh alright. How about this? We'll order a pizza, Pete's buying, and we'll stop when it arrives?"

Leanne, still unable to speak, gave a thumbs up.

"Ok Pete, your turn. Pick an item to try." Annie offered.

What does Pete pick?
